The Chiefs (+500) and 49ers (+650) remain the top-two favorites in the 2025 Super Bowl odds heading into Week 6. Now riding a three-game win streak after an 0-2 start, the Ravens sit alone in third at +800.
Biggest Week 6 Spread: Texans (-7.5) at Patriots
The biggest number on the board in the early Week 6 NFL odds is Houston laying 7.5 points on the road at New England. The Texans moved to 4-1 on the season with a last-second victory over the Bills (23-20) in Week 5. Surprisingly, though, that was their first ATS victory of the season. Their margin of victory in their four wins is just 15 points total (3.75 on average).
The Patriots fell to 1-4 SU and 1-3-1 ATS with a hugely disappointing 15-10 home loss to the floundering Dolphins in Week 5. They were badly out-gained (372 to 299) by a Tyler Huntley-led Miami offense.
Highest Week 6 Game Total: Lions vs Cowboys (52.0)
To no one’s surprise, the Detroit/Dallas game has opened with the highest Week 6 total at 52.0, half a point higher than Washington/Baltimore. The Cowboys’ defense has been one of the most-porous units in the NFL all year, and they’ll be missing their leader, Micah Parsons, on SNF in Week 5. It’s unclear whether he’ll be back in Week 6.
Detroit paired a high-octane offense with a susceptible defense in 2023, which led to them going 14-5 O/U. That dynamic seemed to have shifted early in 2024 as they hit the under in their first three games of the season, but a 42-29 shootout victory over Seattle in Week 4 played more into preseason expectations for Detroit.
Coming off a Week 5 bye, Detroit has opened as a three-point road favorite in Big D and oddsmakers are clearly expecting Jared Goff and company to have their way with a vulnerable Dallas defense.
Lowest Week 6 Game Total: Chargers vs Broncos (36.5)
The lowest total of the week is a tie between Chargers/Broncos and Steelers/Raiders, which both opened at 36.5. But the Chargers/Broncos odds favor the under at -115, so it gets the nod as lowest Week 6 game total.
The Broncos are coming off a high-scoring 34-18 home win over the Raiders but, prior to that, Denver games were averaging just 29.3 PPG.
The Chargers, whose length injury report in Week 4 included starters Joey Bosa, Ja’Sir Taylor, Joe Alt, and Rashawn Slater, are coming off a much-needed bye. At 2-2 on the season, LAC games are averaging just 29.5 PPG and none have gone over 32.
