Coming off one of the worst losses in franchise history, the Golden State Warriors (32-28, 16-15 home, ATS) return to the Bay Area, starting a three-game homestand against the shorthanded Milwaukee Bucks (41-21, 16-14 away, ATS).

Tip-off between the Bucks and Warriors is scheduled for 7:10 pm PT/10:10 pm ET at the Chase Center in San Francisco. With Khris Middleton out and Giannis Antetokounmpo questionable due to an Achilles injury, the Warriors are listed as 3.5-point home favorites.

After Sunday’s embarrassing 140-88 loss at Boston, the Warriors fell to the #10 seed in the Western Conference in the NBA playoff bracket, half a game behind the #9 LA Lakers and three behind the #6 Phoenix Suns.  Milwaukee still holds the #2 seed in the East but is 7.5 games back of top-seeded Boston.

Warriors Crushed by Celtics to End Win Streak

Golden State had started its recent four-game road trip with three straight wins over Washington (123-112), New York (110-89), and Toronto (120-105) but didn’t show up for the finale against the league-leading Celtics. The Warriors trailed by 22 points after the first quarter and it only got worse from there. They entered halftime down 44 points and wound up on the business end of a 52-point defeat, the fourth-worst in franchise history.

Steph Curry finished the game with just four points on 2-of-13 shooting from the field and an imperfect 0-of-9 from three. That marked the first time since a Jan. 7 loss to Toronto that the league’s most-prolific three-point shooter failed to hit a single triple.

The Boston debacle dropped Golden State all the way from ninth in O-Rating to 13th (116.8), while their D-Rating dropped from 17th to 18th (115.7).

The only previous meeting this season between the Bucks and Warriors ended in a 128-119 win for the Bucks in Milwaukee. Neither Curry nor Draymond Green played in the first meeting, though.

Herculean Fourth-Quarter Effort vs Clippers Extends Bucks’ Win Streak

Without Giannis, it looked for three quarters as if the Bucks’ five game win streak was coming to an end against the Clippers on Monday. LA took an eight-point lead into the fourth and Milwaukee had only managed 73 points in the first 36 minutes. That’s when Damian Lillard played arguably his best quarter of basketball since joining the Bucks in the offseason.

Lillard spurred his team to a 40-25 fourth quarter, finishing with a game-high 41 points on 12-of-22 shooting and a perfect 13-of-13 performance from the stripe.

It remains to be seen whether Giannis will be in Wednesday’s NBA lineups. He took warmups against the Clippers but was held out when he showed discomfort in his left Achilles.

Khris Middleton (14.8 PPG, 5.0 APG, 4.3 RPG) has already been ruled out with an ankle injury. Jae Crowder (6.3 PPG, 3.6 RPG) is probable with a knee contusion.

Based on the NBA player props for Wednesday, oddsmakers expect Giannis to be at full speed if he’s in the lineup. The Bucks leading scorer is listed with a game-high point total of 31.5 and rebound total of 11.5.

Coming off one of the worst games of his legendary career, Curry is at 27.5, by far the highest of the Warriors player on the board.

Out since Feb. 25 due to personal reasons, Andrew Wiggins (12.7 PPG, 4.3 RPG) is expected to make his return to the Warriors’ lineup tonight.

Bucks vs Warriors Predictions

Golden State’s effort on Sunday was nothing short of pathetic, which was all the more surprising given that they came in winning of 11 of their last 13 and still needing to make up serious ground in the Western Conference playoff race.

It’s hard for me to fade the Bucks, as well as they’re playing at the moment. It’s also concerning that the NBA public betting splits show 59% of ATS handle on the Warriors. (The public is just 425-458 ATS on the season, a 48.1 win percentage.) But with Golden State healthier, more-rested, and the Bucks just 16-14 straight-up on the road this season, I am going to lay the 3.5 with the Dubs.

The Milwaukee Bucks will face off against the Golden State Warriors on March 6 in what promises to be an exciting matchup between two of the top teams in the NBA. As fans gear up for the game, many will be looking to place bets on player props, odds, and picks to add an extra layer of excitement to the action.

One player prop that bettors may want to keep an eye on is the over/under for points scored by Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo. The reigning MVP has been on a tear this season, averaging over 30 points per game. Against a tough Warriors defense, it will be interesting to see if Giannis can continue his scoring streak. Bettors may want to consider taking the over on his point total for this game.

Another player prop to consider is the over/under for rebounds by Warriors big man Draymond Green. Green is known for his tenacity on the boards and is averaging close to 10 rebounds per game this season. With the Bucks boasting a strong frontcourt, Green will need to be at his best on the glass. Bettors may want to consider taking the over on his rebound total for this game.

In terms of odds, the Bucks are currently favored to win this matchup, with many sportsbooks giving them a slight edge over the Warriors. However, with both teams having talented rosters and strong coaching staffs, this game could easily go either way. Bettors may want to consider taking a closer look at the point spread and moneyline odds before placing their bets.

As for picks, it’s always important to do thorough research before making any decisions. Looking at recent performance, injuries, and head-to-head matchups can all provide valuable insight into how a game may play out. Additionally, considering factors such as home-court advantage and momentum can also help bettors make more informed picks.

Overall, the Milwaukee Bucks vs Golden State Warriors game on March 6 is sure to be a thrilling contest with plenty of opportunities for bettors to get in on the action. By keeping an eye on player props, odds, and making informed picks, fans can enhance their viewing experience and potentially come out on top with some winning bets.
