Arkansas vs Auburn

I gave out Arkansas +3 in my Week 4 college football picks against the spread, and I also like them to pull the upset Saturday. The Hogs boast one of the most potent offenses in the SEC, ranking 11th in both rushing and passing production, and 12th in scoring.

The Hogs are led by dual-threat QB Taylen Green, who ranks fourth in the SEC in yards per pass attempt and second in total offense. Green will be a handful for an Auburn pass defense that sits dead last in the SEC, allowing nearly 243 yards per game through the air.

Arkansas’ ground game is equally dangerous, spearheaded by running back Ja’Quinden Jackson. The Utah transfer leads the SEC in all-purpose yards, yards per carry, and rushing yards per game. He has found the end zone six times already, contributing to Arkansas’ FBS-leading 15 rushing TDs.

On the other side of the ball, Arkansas’ defense matches Auburn’s offense well. The Tigers have a talented but inexperienced quarterback in Hank Brown, who has yet to face a Power 5 defense. The Razorbacks rank in the top 15 nationally in defensive efficiency against the run and have an excellent stuff rate.

While playing on the road in the SEC is never easy, Arkansas has the offensive firepower and defensive play to pull off the upset. The Hogs are hungry to prove they’re better than last year’s 1-7 conference record, and a win over Auburn would be a huge step in the right direction.

  • Pick: Arkansas ML (+120)

Louisiana vs Tulane

Another college football moneyline I’m throwing into my CFB parlay is the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns moneyline against Tulane. Despite being 2.5-point underdogs, the Ragin’ Cajuns match up well with Tulane and have the offensive firepower to outscore their in-state rival.

Louisiana’s balanced attack, led by efficient quarterback Ben Wooldridge and explosive running back Zylan Perry, will pose problems for a Tulane defense that has struggled against the run. The Ragin’ Cajuns are averaging a robust 5.9 yards per carry and 187.5 rushing yards per game.

Wooldridge has also been sharp, completing 76.7% of his passes for 560 yards, four touchdowns and only one interception. He has a bevy of weapons at his disposal, with four players already tallying over 72 receiving yards.

Defensively, Louisiana has been stout, allowing only 10 points per game. While they haven’t faced an offense as potent as Tulane’s, the Ragin’ Cajuns have an experienced roster to slow down the Green Wave’s ground game.

The Ragin’ Cajuns also have history on their side as a home underdog. Last season, Louisiana went 3-1 against the spread as a home dog of 2.5 points or more. With an amped-up crowd behind them and extra motivation to knock off their in-state foe, the Ragin’ Cajuns will not be an easy out.

  • Pick: Louisiana ML (+105)

Kansas vs WVU

Concluding my Week 4 college football parlay is the Kansas Jayhawks moneyline vs the West Virginia Mountaineers. Despite both teams entering with identical 1-2 records, Kansas has shown more promise, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

The Jayhawks rank an impressive 44th in points allowed and 17th in yards allowed per game, which should give them an edge against a West Virginia offense that has struggled to put up points consistently. In their biggest test against Penn State, WVU managed only 12 points.

Kansas also has a potential game-changer in quarterback Jalon Daniels. Although Daniels has had some turnover issues, throwing six interceptions so far, his dual-threat abilities could cause problems for the Mountaineers’ defense. Daniels is averaging a respectable 4.8 yards per carry.

Another factor working in Kansas’ favor is their recent ATS success when facing West Virginia. The Jayhawks have covered the spread in seven of their last ten matchups with the Mountaineers. Additionally, West Virginia has struggled ATS this season, going 0-3.

I think the Jayhawks are undervalued here, and oddsmakers are starting to realize the wrong team may be favored in this game. The Kansas moneyline has moved from +130 to +100, although you can still extract some value by tossing it into your Week 4 CFB parlay.

College football fans and bettors alike are always on the lookout for potential underdog teams that could pull off a major upset and provide a big payout. In Week 4 of the college football season, there are several underdog teams with +800 odds that could be worth considering for a parlay bet.

One team to keep an eye on is the Texas Tech Red Raiders, who are facing off against the Texas Longhorns. The Red Raiders have shown flashes of potential this season, and with quarterback Tyler Shough leading the offense, they could have a chance to pull off the upset against their in-state rivals. At +800 odds, Texas Tech could be a solid underdog pick for a parlay bet.

Another underdog team to consider is the Arizona Wildcats, who are taking on the Oregon Ducks. While the Wildcats have struggled in recent years, they have shown improvement this season and could surprise some people with a strong performance against the Ducks. At +800 odds, Arizona could be a risky but potentially rewarding pick for a parlay bet.

Lastly, the Purdue Boilermakers are another underdog team to watch in Week 4. They are facing off against the Illinois Fighting Illini, and while Purdue may not be the most glamorous pick, they have shown some promise this season and could have a chance to pull off the upset. At +800 odds, the Boilermakers could be a sneaky underdog pick for a parlay bet.

When considering underdog teams with +800 odds for a parlay bet, it’s important to remember that these picks are risky and not guaranteed to pay off. However, if you’re looking for a potential big payout and are willing to take a chance on some underdogs, these teams could be worth considering in Week 4 of the college football season. Good luck with your bets!
