  • Keep reading for all of SBD’s Week 15 expert ATS picks

There are no more bye weeks. As we get closer to the end of the NFL regular season, every team will be in action as they try to reach the 2024-25 NFL playoff bracket.

NFL Week 15 has a little bit of everything. There are battles between bad teams, important cross-conference games like Steelers vs Eagles and Bills vs Lions, and we even have the largest spread of the NFL season so far. The Ravens are 16.5-point favorites over the Giants, the largest NFL spread since Week 14 of the 2022 season. In that game, the Cowboys were 17.5-point favorites over the Texans but only won by four.

See below for all my NFL ATS picks for Week 15.

ATS Pick #1: Browns +4

I don’t know how the Chiefs keep doing it, but they do. Week after week, they invent new ways to win games despite it never being pretty. Over their last seven games, they are 6-1 straight up but 0-7 against the spread. Six of those games have been one-possession games, so why would I expect this one to be any different?

The opening NFL odds for this game had the Browns as a 6.5-point underdog, but as the week has progressed, Cleveland is now +4. I am hopping on this line movement as long as I am still getting over a field goal with the Browns at home. This is an uncommon spot for the Chiefs as they are playing in the early window on Sunday. Plus, they are on the road.

Patrick Mahomes has struggled as a favorite. He is 24-40-2 (37.5%) against the spread as a favorite of 3.5 points or more since 2020. The Browns have been a disappointment this season, but with Jameis Winston they have been competitive. This is more of a bet against the Chiefs than a bet on the Browns, but Cleveland has shown enough over the last few weeks to make me feel comfortable backing them in this spot.

  • NFL Week 15 Pick: Browns +4 (-108) vs Chiefs

ATS Pick #2: Panthers -3

The NFL odds list the Carolina Panthers as favorites for the first time since 2022. They went 33 straight games of being an underdog before this game against the Cowboys where they are 3-point favorites. How can you not pull for Carolina in this spot?

Even though the Panthers have lost three in a row, they have looked good against great competition. Their losses were to the Chiefs, Buccaneers, and Eagles, and every game was close. Bryce Young and the offense have improved tremendously, and even the defense has stepped up. Carolina has covered the spread in five straight games, and they have a great matchup to do it again on Sunday.

Dallas was in the game on Monday night against the Bengals, but after touching a punt late in the game, they lost and failed to cover. The Cowboys will be the worst team that Carolina has faced over the last few weeks, and they cannot stop the run. They have given up the fourth-most rushing yards in the league this season and allow 4.8 yards per carry. Chubba Hubbard and this run game should feast, and that will set up Bryce Young to succeed. I will take the Panthers to cover the spread on Sunday against the struggling Cowboys.

  • NFL Week 15 Pick: Panthers -3 (-108) vs Cowboys

ATS Pick #3: Eagles -5.5

The Battle of Pennsylvania takes place in Week 15 and should be one of the best games of the weekend. The Eagles are 5.5-point favorites over the Steelers, and this is one of the few times I will be against Mike Tomlin as an underdog. The Steelers have lost 10 straight road games vs the Eagles and have failed to cover the spread in nine straight when playing in Philadelphia.

After starting the season 2-2, the Eagles have won nine games in a row and are 6-3 ATS in that span. Their rushing game is strong with Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts, but their defense has been lights-out of late. The Eagles had to sweat in their game against the Panthers last week, but they still were able to get the win. They just came off a big win vs the Ravens and had the Steelers on deck, so the letdown vs Carolina makes sense.

The Steelers have gone through a gauntlet. They just played four straight AFC North games, and now that they finally made it out of that stretch, they get to play the 11-2 Eagles on the road. Pittsburgh has been good on defense but has given up a lot of points at times when playing talented offenses. I also worry about Pittsburgh’s offense without George Pickens. I think they will struggle against this Philadelphia defense, which is why I like the Eagles to win by at least six points.

  • NFL Week 15 Pick: Eagles -5.5 (-110) vs Steelers

As we head into Week 15 of the NFL season, the playoff picture is starting to come into focus. Teams are jockeying for position and every game becomes crucial as they look to secure a spot in the postseason. With that in mind, let’s take a look at some of the key matchups in Week 15 and make our picks against the spread.

First up, we have the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs have been on a tear lately, winning their last six games in a row. They have one of the most explosive offenses in the league led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The Chargers, on the other hand, have been up and down this season but are coming off a big win against the Giants. I like the Chiefs to cover the spread in this one.

Next, we have the New England Patriots facing off against the Indianapolis Colts. The Patriots have been playing well as of late, winning four of their last five games. Their defense has been stout and rookie quarterback Mac Jones has been impressive. The Colts, meanwhile, are coming off a tough loss to the Buccaneers but still have a strong running game led by Jonathan Taylor. I think this will be a close game, but I’m going with the Patriots to cover the spread.

Another interesting matchup in Week 15 is the Arizona Cardinals taking on the Detroit Lions. The Cardinals have been one of the top teams in the NFC this season, led by quarterback Kyler Murray and a strong defense. The Lions, on the other hand, have struggled all season and are still looking for their first win. While I think the Lions will put up a fight, I expect the Cardinals to cover the spread in this one.

Lastly, we have the Dallas Cowboys facing off against the New York Giants. The Cowboys have been inconsistent this season but are coming off a big win against Washington. Their offense has the potential to be explosive with Dak Prescott at quarterback. The Giants, on the other hand, have struggled all season and are dealing with injuries at key positions. I like the Cowboys to cover the spread in this matchup.

Overall, Week 15 is shaping up to be an exciting week of football with several key matchups that could have playoff implications. As always, it’s important to do your own research and consider all factors before making your picks against the spread. Good luck!
