Both Georgia and Alabama have opened as 2.5-point road favorites in their respective matchups. Week 11 also includes the latest iteration in the Holy Way between Utah and still undefeated #9 BYU.

Early NCAAF Week 11 Pick: Vanderbilt (+126) vs South Carolina

Relatively speaking, the Commodores (6-3, 4-0 home, 7-2 ATS) are having a season for the ages. Not only did they beat Alabama for the first time since 1984 – snapping a run of 23 straight losses to the Tide – they also own wins over Auburn (17-7 away), Kentucky (20-13 road), and Virginia Tech (34-27 OT home).

The Dores’ Week 2 loss at Georgia State (36-32 as 8.5-point road favorites) appears incomprehensible at this point; the 2-6 Panthers haven’t won a game since while playing a weak Sun Belt schedule. But that was also a lifetime ago in football years. Vandy is 4-2 since and the only setbacks in that span were a narrow 27-24 verdict against then-#5 Texas and a 30-27 loss at then-#7 Missouri.

The Gamecocks (5-3, 2-1 away, 6-2 ATS) are having a decent season in their own right, as evidenced by their 6-2 ATS record. The last two weeks have been particularly impressive (35-9 win at Oklahoma, 44-20 win vs #10 Texas A&M) and their trio of losses include a razor-thin 36-33 setback to LSU and a 27-25 heartbreaker at Alabama.

But one of my main takeaways from the entire SEC schedule is that there is more parity this season than almost any in the last couple decades. The gap between the haves and have-nots is much narrower. Vanderbilt hasn’t lost at home yet, and I love getting them at plus-money to stay perfect at FirstBank Stadium.

As we head into Week 11 of the college football season, the excitement and anticipation are at an all-time high. With several key matchups on the schedule, fans are eagerly awaiting the action on the field. Let’s take a look at the odds, spreads, and early predictions for the opening games of Week 11.

One of the most highly anticipated games of the week is the matchup between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the LSU Tigers. Alabama comes into this game as the favorite, with odds of -7.5 and a spread of -7.5 points. The Crimson Tide have been dominant all season, boasting a perfect record and a high-powered offense led by Heisman Trophy candidate Bryce Young. On the other hand, LSU has had a disappointing season so far, but they always seem to bring their A-game against their SEC rivals. This game is sure to be a close one, but I predict that Alabama will come out on top in a hard-fought battle.

Another intriguing matchup in Week 11 is the showdown between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Purdue Boilermakers. Ohio State is favored in this game, with odds of -10 and a spread of -10 points. The Buckeyes have been on a roll lately, winning their last five games in convincing fashion. Their offense, led by quarterback C.J. Stroud, has been firing on all cylinders, and their defense has been stout as well. Purdue, on the other hand, has had an up-and-down season but has shown flashes of brilliance at times. However, I believe that Ohio State will be too much for them to handle, and I predict a comfortable win for the Buckeyes.

In another key matchup, the Michigan Wolverines will take on the Penn State Nittany Lions. Michigan comes into this game as the favorite, with odds of -3 and a spread of -3 points. The Wolverines have been one of the surprise teams of the season, boasting a strong defense and a balanced offense led by quarterback Cade McNamara. Penn State, on the other hand, has had a disappointing season so far but has shown flashes of potential at times. This game is sure to be a close one, but I predict that Michigan will come out on top in a hard-fought battle.

Overall, Week 11 of college football promises to be an exciting one, with several key matchups that are sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats. As always, anything can happen in college football, so be sure to tune in and see how it all unfolds.
