Independence Bowl (Dec. 28)

Marshall has pulled out of the Independence Bowl against Army after losing nearly 30 scholarship players to the transfer portal since December 8. The team’s roster took a massive hit after head coach Charles Huff left for Southern Miss, making it impossible for them to field a competitive team.

As a result, Louisiana Tech will replace Marshall in the Dec. 28 showdown against Army.
