Deshaun Watson Passing Yards

Nobody is rushing to bet Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson in the NFL Player props right now, for various reasons. But that’s part of why I’m locking him in as one of my top NFL Week 4 early NFL Player props to target.

Watson has had an ugly start to the 2024-25 campaign, throwing for just 551 yards and three TDs and two interceptions through three contests. In Week 3 vs the Giants, Watson completed just 56.8% of his passes in a 21-15 loss. New York sacked the controversial QB eight times.

The Browns now travel to Las Vegas to face the Raiders in Week 4. I like the chances of Watson turning in his first 200-plus yard passing game of the season. The Raiders are struggling on defense, recently allowing Panthers QB Andy Dalton to throw for 319 yards and 3 TDs.

Watson’s passing yards props should be set in the low 200s, and I’m going over on anything below 210. The Raiders are allowing 7.32 yards per attempt in 2024, providing Watson with the ideal opportunity to quiet some of the noise around his miserable start to the season.

  • NFL Prop Pick: Deshaun Watson Over 210 Passing Yards

Cordarrelle Patterson Rushing Yards

Another player I’ve got my eye on in the Week 4 NFL player props is Pittsburgh Steelers running back Cordarrelle Patterson. The veteran RB could see increased usage in Week 4 with Najee Harris listed on the injury report with an arm injury.

The Steelers are going up against an Indianapolis Colts team that has been shredded on the ground by talented backs. Houston’s Joe Mixon rushed for 159 yards against Indy, while Green Bay’s Josh Jacobs also got over the 150-yard threshold against them.

Patterson was utilized pretty heavily this past weekend against the Chargers. The 34-year-old was on the field for 34 percent of the Steelers’ offensive snaps Sunday, which was tied with fellow backup running back Jaylen Warren.

Patterson outperformed Warren, however, accumulating 33 rush yards and catching three of five targets for 15 air yards. There’s a strong chance he builds off this performance in Week 4, so look to lock in the “over” on his rushing yards props.

Cole Kmet Anytime TD

One of my favorite anytime TD bets for Week 4 is Cole Kmet of the Chicago Bears to record a touchdown. The 25-year-old is coming off a breakout performance in Week 3 with 97 receiving yards and a TD in a loss to the Colts.

Kmet started slow this season but he’s starting to click with Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams. The tight end benefitted from the absence of Keenan Allen (heel) but Williams still threw the ball a whopping 50-plus times in that game.

Even if Chicago is healthier for this game against the Rams, I’m looking to target Kmet to find paydirt. The Bears are unable to run the ball efficiently this season and Williams should have another high-volume throwing day Sunday.

The Rams have given up the most yards per reception to tight ends this season (11.53), which sets up Kmet nicely for another big game. His receiving prop will likely be slightly inflated based on Week 3, but there should be solid plus-money value on him getting a TD.

As we head into Week 4 of the NFL season, there are several player props that bettors should consider when placing their wagers. In this article, we will take a look at some of the top player props to consider for this week, including Deshaun Watson, Cordarrelle Patterson, and others.

Deshaun Watson, quarterback for the Houston Texans, has been putting up impressive numbers so far this season. In Week 3, he threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns against the Carolina Panthers. This week, Watson and the Texans will be facing off against the Buffalo Bills, who have a solid defense but have shown some vulnerabilities against the pass. With Watson’s ability to make plays with both his arm and his legs, he could be a good bet to go over on passing yards or total touchdowns in this matchup.

Another player to keep an eye on is Cordarrelle Patterson of the Atlanta Falcons. Patterson has been a versatile weapon for the Falcons this season, lining up at both wide receiver and running back. In Week 3, he had over 80 total yards and two touchdowns against the New York Giants. This week, the Falcons will be taking on the Washington Football Team, who have struggled against the run so far this season. Patterson could be a good bet to go over on rushing yards or total touchdowns in this game.

Other players to consider for player props in Week 4 include Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings, who will be facing a weak Cleveland Browns secondary, and Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans, who will be going up against a struggling New York Jets defense. Both players have the potential to put up big numbers in their respective matchups.

When considering player props for Week 4, it’s important to take into account factors such as matchups, recent performance, and injury status. By doing your research and staying informed, you can make more informed decisions when placing your bets on player props for this week’s NFL games.
