- Every NBA team is in action on the final day of the regular season on Sunday, April 13, 2025
- With a slate like this, we have to be able to find a couple of plus-money bangers
- See my favorite NBA player props, picks, and predictions tonight
Another season will be in the books when we go to bed Sunday, which is crazy. It feels like we just started betting these guys yesterday, and now almost half of the league is done. Just like any other year, we shouldn’t be sad about this rather happy that the season happened.
To show our appreciation, I feel like we need to lay a few bets down. The last day is always tricky since it’s tough to know who is going to play and who isn’t. Lucky for us, I went through every matchup with a fine-toothed comb and picked out a couple of spots we can all exploit for our gain. Feels like the right thing to do.

NBA Player Prop Pick #1: It’s James Harden Time
There is only one game that matters on Sunday, and that’s the Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors game. Neither one of these teams can afford to lose this game so it’s basically a playoff game. That means it is a “star” game and one of the stars I’m looking at is James Harden.
People forget that this guy is a legend.
Obviously, Harden is a triple-double threat, but we don’t really need to get that loose on a Sunday. Especially in the afternoon. It’s just not the right way to go about things. But, with all that being said, we can take James to go double-digits in the assist category. Especially since BetMGM is giving us an incredible deal at +140.
This isn’t that crazy. For starters, James has gone for 10+ assists in each of his last four games. The Clippers are in playoff mode, and it’s obvious. I know the haters are going to say Harden only had seven assists last time he played the Warriors. But pay them no mind because he had 16 the time before. Kawhi Leonard didn’t play in either of those games, either. This feels as free as the air we’re all breathing right now.
- The Bet: James Harden 10+ Assists (+140) – BetMGM
NBA Player Prop Pick #2: Anthony Davis Finishes Strong
When the Dallas Mavericks traded Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis, everyone thought they were crazy. In everyone’s defense, it was a crazy trade. I mean, we’re talking Luka Doncic here. You don’t trade him.
But, this Anthony Davis guy is pretty good. We can’t forget that.
The Dallas Mavericks are going to play in the Western Conference 9 vs 10 play-in game. It’s been a pretty far fall for these guys who were all but assured of a “real” playoff spot just a couple short months ago. Life comes at you fast.
It’s tough to say how “serious” they will take Sunday’s game with the Memphis Grizzlies, but one market that looks hot for Anthony Davis is the assists market. He is passing the ball more in Dallas as evidenced by his 10-assist game last time out. Now he’s getting a Grizzlies team that just allowed 72% of their opponent’s field goals to come via the assist the last time they played. Davis should have five dimes by halftime. Feels right.
- The Bet: Anthony Davis Over 4.5 Assists (+110) – DraftKings

1. James Harden – Over/Under 30.5 points
James Harden has been on a scoring tear lately, averaging over 30 points per game in his last 10 contests. The Milwaukee Bucks will be taking on the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, and Giannis Antetokounmpo will be a key player to watch. The Greek Freak has been dominant on the boards this season, averaging over 13 rebounds per game. Taking the over on 12.5 rebounds for Antetokounmpo seems like a solid bet considering his rebounding ability.
3. Damian Lillard – Over/Under 8.5 assists
Damian Lillard has been a playmaking machine for the Portland Trail Blazers this season, averaging over 8 assists per game. With the Blazers facing off against the Denver Nuggets, Lillard will look to facilitate the offense and get his teammates involved. Taking the over on 8.5 assists for Lillard seems like a good bet given his passing skills.
4. Karl-Anthony Towns – Over/Under 25.5 points
Karl-Anthony Towns has been a scoring machine for the Minnesota Timberwolves this season, averaging over 25 points per game. With the Timberwolves taking on the Memphis Grizzlies, Towns will look to continue his scoring prowess. Taking the over on 25.5 points for Towns seems like a safe bet given his scoring ability.
5. Kawhi Leonard – Over/Under 2.5 steals
Kawhi Leonard has been a defensive stalwart for the Los Angeles Clippers this season, averaging over 2 steals per game. With the Clippers facing off against the New York Knicks, Leonard will look to disrupt the opposing offense with his defensive prowess. Taking the over on 2.5 steals for Leonard seems like a solid bet considering his defensive skills.
