The Super Bowl signaled the end of a huge football season for the Empire State, with New York sports bettors wagering $557.8 million for the week ending Feb. 9.

New Yorkers wagered nearly $155 million on the Super Bowl alone.

Another Big Sports Betting Week

After setting records in 2024, New York has had a blistering start to its 2025 sports betting season. January saw the most money ever bet, and the most gross gaming revenue ever recorded, in the state since sports betting launched in January 2022.

The New York State Gaming Commission releases handle and revenue reports for its nine live NY sports betting apps, Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel, BetMGM, Fanatics Sportsbook, Bally Bet, Resorts World Bet, ESPN BET, and BetRivers, at the conclusion of each week.

For the week ending Feb. 9, the New York State Gaming Commission reported $557,879,280 in online sports betting handle and $62,383,200 in gross gaming revenue.
