Flutter and FanDuel have been part of the Los Angeles business community for the last 25, as the company’s branded media platform, FanDuel TV, is based in Culver City. The company has key corporate, commercial, and product functions supporting its daily fantasy sports, online sportsbook, and iGaming platforms in Los Angeles as well.
“FanDuel and Flutter have been proud members of the Los Angeles business community for over two decades. We are heartbroken by the devastating loss these wildfires have created in a community we call home,” said Amy Howe, CEO of FanDuel, in a company press release. “We are committed to ensuring our employees are safe and making sure the community has the resources it needs to support the heroic efforts of our first responders.”
Donations to Americares will help the relief organization address urgent health needs in affected areas. The funding for the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation will support equipment and programs that help save lives.
Fanatics’ LA Strong Sales to Relief Efforts
Fanatics, the parent company of Fanatics Sportsbook, announced it would be donating proceeds from sales of its LA Strong merchandise to Los Angeles wildfire relief efforts.
The company announced its plans on X.
“Our hearts are with everyone in Los Angeles. And we’re looking to do whatever we can to help. So we’ve teamed up with the our league partners and the LA sporting world to support those impacted by the tragic wildfires. Fanatics, Leagues, and the participating sports organizations will not profit from the sale of the LA Strong merchandise and will make a donation directly to the American Red Cross and the LA Fire Department Foundation. The American Red Cross provides assistance to those affected by these fires and the LA Fire Department Foundation provides much needed support and equipment to first responders.”

In the wake of the devastating wildfires that have ravaged Los Angeles and surrounding areas, companies like FanDuel and Fanatics have stepped up to offer their support for relief efforts. These two sports-focused companies have come together to raise funds and awareness for those affected by the wildfires, showing that even in times of crisis, communities can come together to make a difference.
FanDuel, a popular fantasy sports platform, has pledged to donate a portion of its proceeds to wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles. Through their daily fantasy sports contests, FanDuel will be raising funds to support those who have been displaced or lost their homes due to the fires. By participating in these contests, sports fans can not only enjoy their favorite pastime but also contribute to a worthy cause.
Fanatics, a leading online retailer of sports merchandise, has also joined the effort to support wildfire relief in Los Angeles. The company has launched a special line of merchandise, with a portion of the proceeds going towards relief efforts. Fans can purchase items like t-shirts, hats, and other gear to show their support for those affected by the fires while also making a tangible impact through their purchases.
In addition to their fundraising efforts, both FanDuel and Fanatics are using their platforms to raise awareness about the ongoing crisis in Los Angeles. Through social media campaigns and partnerships with local organizations, they are spreading the word about how people can help and encouraging others to get involved.
The support from FanDuel and Fanatics is just one example of how companies can use their resources and influence to make a positive impact during times of crisis. By coming together as a community, we can all play a part in helping those in need and rebuilding what has been lost in the wake of these devastating wildfires.
