PHI Eagles’ Path to the Super Bowl
The Eagles have been hugely impressive during their three playoff wins. After cruising past the Packers 22-10 in the Wild Card Round on the strength of four takeaways, Philly ran all over the Rams in a 28-22 Divisional Round win. Saquon Barkley set a franchise record with 205 rushing yards while the Eagles put up 285 total on the ground.
The Commanders were powerless to stop the Philadelphia run game in the NFC Championship Game, as well. The Eagles ran for an NFL playoff record-tying seven touchdowns (three from Barkley, three from Jalen Hurts, and one from Will Shipley) en route to a 55-23 rout of Washington. It was the third time in as many games that the Eagles rushed for over 200 yards against their NFC East rival from the nation’s capital.
The Eagles easily covered as 6.5-point home favorites against the Commanders. Philly also covered in the Wild Card as 5.5-point chalk against the Packers. They only managed a push against the Rams as six-point home favorites.
KC Chiefs’ Road to Super Bowl 59
As the number-one seed in the AFC, the Chiefs had a bye to the Divisional Round in the NFL playoff bracket, where they were matched up against the Houston Texans.
The Chiefs weren’t great, especially on offense, in a 23-14 victory. Patrick Mahomes and company recorded just 212 total yards of offense (162 passing, 50 rushing) and allowed eight sacks. But the KC defense limited Houston to just two field goals in the first half, which allowed the Chiefs to build a 13-6 halftime lead that they would nurse to another win and a seventh-straight appearance in the AFC Championship.
The Chiefs failed to cover as 9.5-point home favorites.
Kansas City was considerably more impressive in the AFC title game against the Buffalo Bills as 1.5-point chalk. The Chiefs scored touchdowns on three of their first four drives to take a 21-16 lead into halftime.
The Bills threw some haymakers in the second half and briefly took a 22-21 lead but a Harrison Butker field-goal with 3:37 remaining proved the difference in a hard-fought 32-29 victory for Kansas City. This fourth-down stop by the Chiefs was the clincher on an instant classic.
The Chiefs have now won 12 one-score games this season, including playoffs. Bookmark SBD’s NFL public betting splits for the latest line movement in Eagles vs Chiefs.

The Super Bowl 59 odds have been released, and the Kansas City Chiefs have opened as a slight favorite against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Chiefs, led by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, are coming off a strong season and are looking to make a return to the Super Bowl after falling short in the playoffs last year.
The Eagles, on the other hand, are a team on the rise. Led by quarterback Jalen Hurts and a strong defense, they surprised many by making it to the playoffs last season and are looking to build on that success this year.
The odds makers have the Chiefs as a slight favorite in this matchup, with many pointing to their high-powered offense as the key factor. Mahomes is one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the league, and he has a talented group of receivers to throw to, including Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce.
However, the Eagles are not to be underestimated. Their defense was one of the best in the league last season, and they have added some key pieces in the offseason to bolster their offense. Hurts showed flashes of brilliance last season, and if he can continue to develop, the Eagles could be a tough team to beat.
Ultimately, this matchup is sure to be an exciting one, with two talented teams facing off for the chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. While the Chiefs may be the slight favorite according to the odds makers, anything can happen in football, and the Eagles will be looking to prove that they are more than capable of pulling off an upset. Fans can expect a thrilling game when these two teams meet on the biggest stage in football.
