Nestor Cortes is not necessarily known for being a strikeout pitcher, but he’s performed very well against the Orioles in the past. Baltimore’s lineup is hitting just .216 against Cortes with 50 strikeouts across 139 at-bats. He’s especially had success against Gunnar Henderson and Ryan Mountcastle, striking out Henderson in 6 of their 7 faceoffs and Mountcastle in 11 of his 21 at-bats.

Yankees ML is not a bad play either for those looking to play the outcome, though there is some risk involved at -150.
The Yankees need this series win after dropping 2 to the Red Sox and 2 to the Dodgers a week ago. With them returning home to Yankee Stadium and the Orioles exhausted having just played the monster Phillies (also, 2-2 in their last 4 all at home), the momentum seems to be pointing slightly in New York’s favor.
