Coming off a heartbreaking loss in the quarterfinals of the NBA Cup, the Golden State Warriors (14-10, 7-6 away, 15-9 ATS) return to the court on Sunday night as they host the Dallas Mavericks (16-9, 8-3 home, 14-10-1 ATS) at the Chase Center at 5:40 pm PT/8:40 pm ET. With both Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins questionable for Golden State on Sunday night, the Mavericks are 2.5 to 3.5-point road favorites in Sunday’s NBA odds.

Dallas Mavericks vs Golden State Warriors Predictions

  • Warriors moneyline (+125) at ESPN Bet
  • Thompson over 14.5 points (-115) at DraftKings Odds as of 3:18 pm ET, Dec. 15. Read SBD’s ESPN Bet app review to see the latest promo codes on offer.

Sunday will mark longtime Warrior Klay Thompson’s second game in the Bay Area against his former team. The first ended in a 120-117 Golden State victory, though Thompson tied his season high with 22 points in an emotional game for almost everyone in the building.

Steph Curry had his best game of the season, dropping 37 points with nine assists, six rebounds, two blocks, and a steal.

The injuries on the Golden State side are certainly a concern, but you’re getting good value on the Warriors at +125. Depth has been the strength of this team all season – unlike in years past – and the Dubs are already 4-1 without their superstar this year. That includes a pair of wins over Houston and New Orleans, with the only setback being a four-point loss to the West-leading OKC Thunder.

I don’t have a lot of negative things to say against Dallas. They are consolidating their status as one of the favorites to come out of the West (for a second straight year). But Golden State has been an excellent home team for the past decade, and it’s not often you’ll get to bet the Warriors at home at plus-money in a game that Curry will likely suit up for.

The highly anticipated matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and the Golden State Warriors on December 15th is sure to be a thrilling game for basketball fans. Both teams have been performing well this season, making it difficult to predict the outcome of this game. However, with some analysis of player props and odds, we can make some educated guesses on what to expect.

One player to keep an eye on in this game is Luka Doncic of the Mavericks. Doncic has been a standout player for Dallas this season, averaging 25.4 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game. His versatility on the court makes him a threat to the Warriors defense, and he could potentially have a big game against them.

On the Warriors side, Stephen Curry is always a player to watch. Curry is known for his incredible shooting ability and has been putting up impressive numbers this season, averaging 27.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game. If Curry gets hot from beyond the arc, he could single-handedly lead the Warriors to victory.

When it comes to player props, betting on Doncic to score over 30 points or Curry to hit over 5 three-pointers could be good options. Both players have the potential to have big scoring nights, and these props offer good odds for bettors.

As for the overall outcome of the game, the odds currently favor the Mavericks slightly. However, with the Warriors playing at home and having a strong roster, this game could easily go either way. It will likely come down to which team can execute their game plan better on both ends of the court.

In conclusion, the Mavericks vs Warriors game on December 15th is shaping up to be an exciting matchup between two talented teams. Keep an eye on players like Doncic and Curry, and consider betting on player props that highlight their strengths. With the odds favoring the Mavericks, this game could be a close one that comes down to the wire. Be sure to tune in and see how it all unfolds.
