You’re looking at a Charger team that has lost two out of their last three and star quarterback Justin Herbert is having some ankle issues, but defensively the Chargers are legit. The Chargers give up the least points in the NFL at 15.9 a game and are eighth in the NFL against the pass. LA has a pair of good young corners in Tarheeb Still and Elijah Molden, and their pass rush still has some get-up.
Tampa is dealing with injury issues too. Running back Bucky Irving, who has had a breakthrough year, is dealing with a back issue. Bucs standout defensive back Antoine Wingfield Jr. is out. Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield has made a lot of chicken salad this season on offense, with a gimpy Mike Evans as his No. 1 target.

But I like the Chargers because this is a game they really need to have. After this one, the Bucs have cake, cake and cake on the schedule with Dallas, Carolina and New Orleans. Tampa has a one-game lead on the flopping Falcons in the woeful NFC South.

Let’s look the passing yardage prop for Mayfield from DraftKings. Mayfield has thrown for over 230 yards in each of his last three games, but consider the fact that he was up against three of the worst defenses in the NFL in the Raiders, Panthers and Giants. I lean toward the under here though against the Chargers strong secondary.
The prop bet I like the most on the Chargers side is Gus Edwards over 10.5 carries. JK Dobbins is banged up, so is Herbert remember, and someone will have to carry the ball for the Chargers.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to face off against the Los Angeles Chargers on December 15th in what is shaping up to be an exciting matchup. Both teams have had their fair share of ups and downs this season, making it difficult to predict the outcome of this game. However, with some analysis of the teams’ performances and current odds, we can make some educated guesses about how things might play out.
The Buccaneers are coming off a strong win against the Minnesota Vikings, with quarterback Tom Brady leading the charge. Brady has been playing at a high level this season, throwing for over 3,000 yards and 28 touchdowns. The Bucs’ offense has been clicking on all cylinders, ranking fourth in the league in total yards per game. Their defense has also been solid, holding opponents to an average of 23 points per game.
On the other side of the ball, the Chargers have had a rough season, currently sitting at 3-9. However, rookie quarterback Justin Herbert has been a bright spot for the team, throwing for over 3,200 yards and 23 touchdowns. The Chargers’ offense has been explosive at times, but their defense has struggled, allowing an average of 27 points per game.
In terms of odds, the Buccaneers are currently favored to win this matchup. According to sportsbooks, Tampa Bay has a -7.5 point spread, meaning they are expected to win by at least 8 points. The over/under for total points scored in the game is set at 49.5, indicating that oddsmakers expect a relatively high-scoring affair.
As for prop bets, there are several interesting options to consider for this game. One prop bet to watch is the over/under on Tom Brady passing yards, which is currently set at 295.5. Given Brady’s strong performance this season, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him surpass this mark. Another prop bet to consider is the first team to score, with the Buccaneers favored to get on the board first.
Overall, this game has the potential to be a high-scoring affair with both offenses capable of putting up points. While the Chargers have shown flashes of brilliance this season, the Buccaneers appear to be the more complete team and are favored to come out on top. It will be interesting to see how things unfold on December 15th and whether or not the odds and predictions hold true.
