The Indiana Fever and Los Angeles Sparks face off at 7 p.m. ET on NBA TV Tuesday night for a battle in Indianapolis. Despite being one of the worst teams in the league according to record, the Fever may be the most popular team in women’s basketball thanks to star rookie guard Caitlin Clark out of Iowa.
Clark and the Fever earned their first win of the season on May 24 in Los Angeles over these same Sparks, who sit at 1-4 on the season compared to Indiana’s brutal 1-6 record. Clark was more of a facilitator in that game, dropping 11 points with 10 rebounds and 8 assists in a 78-73 win.
Can Indian win their first home game of the season or will the Sparks pick up their first away win of the season? One’s gotta give, so take a look at some of the best player props, odds and a prediction for tonight’s matchup right here.

Caitlin Clark, Star Player Props for May 28
Player Props (Colorado vs. Philadelphia) | Odds |
---|---|
Caitlin Clark over 6.5 Assists | -125 |
Dearica Hamby over 18.5 Points | -135 |
Caitlin Clark over 2.5 3-Pointers Made | -160 |
Clark is the star of the show for Indiana for the time being, and as I said earlier this could be one of her better games as a professional thus far. I’m not expecting a very high scoring performance necessarily, but with a 2-9 shooting performance the other night a return to the mean is to be expected. On top of this, Clark has totaled at least 7 assists in 4 of her last 5 games.
Hamby, despite Clark’s budding stardom, is probably the most polished player on the court for either team Tuesday night. She’s averaging 20.6 points per game and dropped 18 with 12 rebounds and 7 assists last outing against Indiana. If LA is to have any chance, she’ll have to catch fire.
Indiana Fever vs. Los Angeles Sparks Prediction
The Fever were able to do it once before, so why wouldn’t they be able to take care of business at home? Indiana’s 1-6 record is obviously not ideal, but they’ve been competitive in a pair of those losses and have overall played much better since their 3rd game of the year as Clark gels into her role.
Clark set a professional career high in rebounds and assists last time out against the Sparks while adding 4 steals. Despite not scoring 20 points like she had a few times a week or 2 prior it was by far her best game in Indianapolis. There’s a real chance she tops that performance tonight, though.
While Clark’s scoring has taken a bit of a dive, Kelsey Mitchell has remained very consistent for Indiana. If she can keep that up, Indiana should cruise to their second win of the year against a plain bad offensive unit in Los Angeles.
