- Read below for fun 2025 novelty props from Kalshi, including broadcast, celebrity and more
The 2025 Super Bowl is approaching, and Kalshi’s prediction markets are offering unique ways to engage with the Big Game beyond traditional betting. These regulated markets cover everything from broadcast mentions to celebrity appearances, giving traders legal alternatives to conventional sportsbooks.
With the Chiefs making another Super Bowl appearance and the Taylor Swift phenomenon continuing to drive interest, Kalshi has expanded its offerings to include various novelty props. These markets range from predicting viewership numbers to tracking specific broadcast mentions during the game.
Traders can now capitalize on their predictions about both game coverage and cultural moments, with markets showing strong confidence in record-breaking viewership despite this being a repeat matchup.

Goodell, Allen & Belichick Expected to be Name-Dropped
Yes, you can officially wager on what FOX announcers Tom Brady and Kevin Burkhardt will say during Sunday’s Super Bowl 59. Roger Goodell, Josh Allen, and Bill Belichick are the heavy favorites to be mentioned on the broadcast. They are all priced with higher than a 70% chance to be name-dropped.
It’s truly difficult to imagine these people not being mentioned on the telecast, as they are all very relevant to this game. Goodell is, of course, the league commissioner, while Allen lost to Mahomes in the AFC Championship but won league MVP. Belichick, meanwhile, coached Brady for all his Super Bowl appearances in New England.
An interesting prop to consider is whether “Taylor Swift” will be said 5+ times during the Big Game. The “yes” price for this is set at 45 cents, while the “no” price is offered at 61 cents. I actually think “no” could be slightly undervalued here, especially once you dig into the fine print on this market.
Kalshi specifies this prop only includes the actual hours of the game (after kick-off and before the end of the final quarter). Yes, Swift was shown 11 times last year, but many of those appearances were simple camera pans to her following a Kelce play. Those sequences won’t necessarily come with a name mention by the broadcast.
Furthermore, I expect the NFL to dial it back on the amount of Swift coverage following the criticism last year. That’s not to say she won’t be shown often, but I think we’ll see her full name mentioned less than 5 times. Make sure to check out the updated Taylor Swift props for even more Swiftie-related bets.
Who Will Attend the Super Bowl?
Market | Implied Probability |
---|---|
Donald Trump | 99% |
Jason Kelce | 98% |
Taylor Swift | 96% |
Elon Musk | 76% |
Kanye West (Ye) | 36% |
JD Vance | 33% |
Barack Obama | 8% |
Joe Biden | 4% |
Trump, Jason Kelce & Swift Favored to Attend
Among the other Super Bowl trading options at Kalshi are which celebrities will attend the big game. To no surprise, the current sitting president, Donald Trump is a very heavy favorite at 99% (virtual guarantee). The 99¢ price for Yes contracts is at the upper limit of Kalshi’s pricing range (1¢ to 99¢).
Jason Kelce, brother of Travis, is the other very heavy favorite to attend the Super Bowl at 98% implied probability. Even if he weren’t the brother of the KC star, he would likely be at this game anyway, supporting his former team. Sticking on the Kelce topic, Taylor Swift is another heavy favorite, at 96%, to attend the Super Bowl.
We aren’t going to touch these heavy favorites on either “yes” or “no”. The payout is too minuscule for wagering them to attend, and if you go the other way, you’re basically betting on some type of tragedy occurring. However, Elon Musk (76%) and Kanye West (Ye) at 36% have both piqued my interest.
Musk hasn’t officially been confirmed as a Super Bowl celebrity guest, but he’s unlikely to pass on this type of exposure. The Tesla CEO has attended the last two Super Bowls and is almost becoming Trump’s right-hand man in a way. Not to mention, there are rumors that Musk might spend $40 million on Super Bowl ads to expose government waste discovered by his DOGE.
Kanye has more value at his current price, though, if you do think the controversial R&B singer will pull up to New Orleans. He attended last year’s Super Bowl and the game two years ago in LA. When recently asked about his Super Bowl plans, Ye stated, “We might pull up”.
How Many People Will Watch the Super Bowl?
Market | Implied Probability |
---|---|
More than in 2023 (>115,096,000 viewers) | 85% |
More than in 2024 (>123,714,000 viewers) | 64% |
Viewership Projected to Surpass Last Year
Even though we are getting a repeat matchup in this year’s Super Bowl, Kalshi trading markets predict that Super Bowl 59 will surpass Super Bowl 58 in viewership. That would mean more than 123,714,000 viewers watching the Big Game this year. The “yes” price on Kalshi has actually surged 22%, indicating traders are confident in this pick.
The primary reason the predictive market is bullish on the viewership is recent audience trends:
- Super Bowl LVIII (2024): 123.7 million viewers (record high)
- Super Bowl LVII (2023): 115.1 million viewers
- Super Bowl LVI (2022): 112.3 million viewers
The trend shows a consistent increase, with a significant jump of 8.6 million viewers from 2023 to 2024.
I’m never going to underestimate the draw of the Super Bowl, especially to the casual viewer. But it is interesting that a recent study showed there is 45% more negative than positive sentiment about the Chiefs on social media. In that same study, nearly 80% of social media users expressed frustration, anger, or disgust about the Chiefs advancing to their third consecutive Super Bowl.
But hey, hate-watching exists, and I don’t know many people who are boycotting watching this game simply because the Chiefs are in it. Furthermore, Swift’s attendance at NFL games has generally increased viewership, especially among women aged 18-49. However, it’s worth pointing out that posts about Taylor Swift’s connection to the Super Bowl declined by 67% over last year’s event.
