- The Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers will get it on at 8:00 pm ET on Saturday (January 4)
- The smartest thing we can do at this point is to lay out a sweet, sweet Bengals/Steelers SGP
- See below to find the best Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers same-game parlay
The NFL has moved in on Saturday nights, and honestly, it’s glorious. Don’t get me wrong, Saturday night was just fine without the NFL. In fact, it was arguably the best night of the week. But you and I both know that with the NFL, Saturday night has now moved to the ranks of the unstoppable. To make it even better, we’re getting a real game.
We’re talking the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers here, people. This is basically playoff football since both teams are fighting for their lives. The Bengals literally have to win, or they’ll be out. I don’t have to tell you that we’re going to need to lock in an SGP on this thing. It’s the right thing to do.
Bengals vs Steelers Same-Game Parlay Picks
Pick | Odds |
---|---|
George Pickens 4+ Receptions | -240 |
George Pickens 50+ Receiving Yards | -250 |
Pat Freiermuth 3+ Receptions | -280 |
CIN vs PIT SGP Total Odds | +116 |
George Pickens Will Show Up
I’ve been doing SGPs for as long as I can remember. The best, smartest way to do these things is to find a guy that you know for a fact will show up. Then, bet that guy in two different categories. It’s literally, the way.
The guy that we know for a fact will show up Saturday night is George Pickens.
Yards needed to hit 1k this season…
George Pickens – 100
Jakobi Meyers – 96
Mike Evans – 85
Jauan Jennings – 77
DK Metcalf – 61
Tyreek Hill – 61
Calvin Ridley – 59 pic.twitter.com/qnZ0Nk2UBr— Underdog (@UnderdogFantasy) January 2, 2025
I think incentive talk is a little out of control these days, but it’s nice to know this guy is playing for something personal. If Pickens were to go over 100 yards Saturday, it would be the second consecutive season he accomplished the feat. That’s kind of a big deal considering the quarterbacks he’s played with in those seasons.
But here’s the thing: we’re not including this guy because of a 1000-yard season being on the line. This is all about the team situation. The Steelers are still in the hunt for a division title. The Bengals’ season is hanging on by a thread. We’re getting a 100% effort from both teams in this one. We’re talking grudge match here.
The thing is, we just saw these two teams light it up a month ago. I’m not saying they’ll score 80+ points again, but I do think the Bengals will push the Steelers to air the ball out a little. In a situation like that, George Pickens has to go for a minimum 4-50 line. It just makes sense.
Pat Freiermuth Is No Sloutch
Now that we have two legs down, we just need one more to complete a proper SGP. I always say three legs is the minimum, and I’m pretty sure I’m not alone with that thought. Lucky for us, I have the perfect guy to toss into this thing to make it whole.
A lot of people would go for someone on the Bengals side since we already have a Steeler, but not us. We can’t look away from a guy that catches everything.
Pat Freiermuth has been targeted 50 times and has 44 receptions so far this season. That’s an 88% catch percentage. pic.twitter.com/v3KtaQrkxh

Let’s talk a little bit about Pat Freiermuth. The man is an absolute tank, and it’s about time these Steelers started using this guy right. If you’ve ever seen The Bronx Tale, then you know that there’s nothing worse than wasted talent. Not for nothing, but the Steelers have been wasting this guy for a few years. It’s nice to see that they’re coming to their senses.
Over the last six games, Freiermuth has caught at least three passes in all of them. Even in games that Pittsburgh controlled throughout. No matter what the game script, our boy Pat gets fed like the beast he is. It’s a beautiful sight.
That’s important because, on the season, no team in the NFL has given up more receptions to the tight end position than the Cincinnati Bengals. The first time these teams played, Pat was targeted seven times. He turned those seven opportunities into a nice little 6-68-1 line. We only need three receptions here. Feels right.
