- We enter the second round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament on Saturday, March 22
- At this point, it’s time to back the dogs from the first round that we think can continue
- See below for my +245 March Madness Parlay for Saturday
We’ve made it to the weekend and, honestly, I’m not even tired of basketball yet. I’ve watched every single game so far and it’s been awesome. A gigantic tournament to end the season is definitely the way to go and that fact is proven every single year. We’re down to just 32 teams and, after another two days, we’ll only have 16. It happens fast. Soon, there will be no more basketball to bet on. Not to be a downer, but that’s just the facts. What we need to do at this point is promise ourselves we’ll have one parlay for each day moving forward. That way, when this thing ends, we can say that we left it all out on the court. Feels like the move.

March Madness Saturday Parlay Leg #1 – Drake Is a Live Underdog
One of my favorite second-round moves is to take a Day 1 darling to move on the Sweet 16. There aren’t many to choose from since there really weren’t that many “crazy” upsets. Of the few, Drake jumped out as a team that has what it takes to move on to the second weekend.
They haven’t been this far since the early 70’s so they’re basically playing with house money at this point. That makes them dangerous.
Drake is into the Rd of 32 for the first time since 1971. In the 1st year of Ben McCollum coaching D1 hoops.

The other thing that makes them dangerous is the fact that they can ball. They straight-up dominated Missouri which was not an easy task. They held them to 33% shooting while turning them over 16 times. That’s a recipe for success in this tournament.
Things don’t get easier for Drake this round as Texas Tech is one of the best three-point shooting teams in the field. On top of that, they don’t turn the ball over much. Still, in a slow-paced, rock fight type game, if shots aren’t falling from deep like in the first round, the Red Raiders could find themselves in a dog fight. We just need Drake to stay within 7.5. Feels easy.

March Madness Saturday Parlay Leg #2 – Creighton Won’t Go Down Easily
While Drake is fighting for our parlay lives, our other squad will be taking the floor. The Creighton Bluejays were very impressive in the first round and they looked like a team we can trust in the second round. They play with a ton of energy which is big this time of year.
They still had that same energy the next morning.

Energy is one thing but covering for a parlay win is another thing. In my opinion, these kids should not be almost 10-point dogs. They are one of the best shooting teams in the country so “getting hot” is something that could easily happen.
I know they are playing the number one seed in the entire tournament, but we’re not asking them to win outright. Just give Auburn a game. They match up well given the fact that they have a seven-footer that can move. On top of that, they’ve got multiple guys who can create their own shot. They should be able to keep this game within 9.5 points.
If they do, we’ll cash this parlay. Feels right.

Creating a successful parlay bet for the NCAA Tournament can be a thrilling and potentially lucrative endeavor for sports bettors. A parlay bet involves combining multiple individual bets into one larger bet, with the potential for higher payouts if all of the individual bets are successful. In this article, we will discuss how to create a 2-leg, +245 parlay for the NCAA Tournament games taking place on Saturday, March 22nd.
Step 1: Research the Games
The first step in creating a successful parlay bet is to research the games that are taking place on Saturday, March 22nd. Look at the matchups, recent performance of the teams, injuries, and any other relevant information that may impact the outcome of the games.
Step 2: Choose Your Teams
For a 2-leg parlay, you will need to select two teams to bet on. Look for teams that are favored to win their respective games, but also consider the point spread and any other factors that may influence the outcome of the game. It’s important to choose teams that you believe have a strong chance of winning their games.
Step 3: Calculate the Odds
Once you have chosen your two teams, you will need to calculate the odds for your parlay bet. In this case, we are aiming for a +245 parlay, which means that if both of your selected teams win, you will receive a payout of $245 for every $100 wagered.
Step 4: Place Your Bet
After calculating the odds and determining your potential payout, it’s time to place your bet. Make sure to double-check your selections and the odds before finalizing your bet. Most sportsbooks allow you to easily create a parlay bet by selecting multiple games and entering your desired wager amount.
Step 5: Enjoy the Games
Now that you have placed your parlay bet, all that’s left to do is sit back and enjoy the NCAA Tournament games on Saturday, March 22nd. Keep an eye on the scores and root for your selected teams to come out on top. If both of your teams win, you will be celebrating a successful parlay bet and a nice payout!
In conclusion, creating a 2-leg, +245 parlay for the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, March 22nd can be an exciting way to add some extra excitement to the games. By researching the matchups, choosing your teams wisely, calculating the odds, placing your bet, and enjoying the games, you can increase your chances of a successful parlay bet. Good luck!
