How to Bet on Home Run Props: A Guide to a +12259 HR Parlay on Wednesday, April 23

  • There is another giant, glorious MLB slate for Wednesday, April 23
  • My favorite thing to do with a slate like this is find multiple home run props to bet
  • See below for my +12259 home run parlay for Wednesday

We’re moving on to Wednesday, which is my favorite day of the week for baseball. It might be the most underrated, too. We get multiple day games, followed by multiple night games, which makes it all feel like two separate slates. It’s a classic two-for-one situation. Usually, we have to pay extra for that sort of thing, but not when it comes to the MLB. On top of all that, we get to build off of yesterday’s momentum. The entire slate came down to one final Brent Rooker at bat, and he came through like the champion he is. It turned a losing day into a winning one and that’s literally why we bet dingers in the first place. Lucky for us, today should be even better because we’ve got three sluggers in prime position to stuff cash into our pockets. Feels good.

Just a reminder, we’re betting each guy straight for a 1/4 unit as well as parlaying all three for 1/4 unit.

Wednesday HR Parlay Leg #1 – Byron Buxton to Hit a Home Run

The haters are going to be in shambles tonight when Byron Buxton puts a ball into orbit. We took him yesterday, and he let us down, but he tried his best, which is all we can ask for. And in his defense, the man hit a ball 372 feet, so it wasn’t like he was out there bunting.

In a situation like this, I think it’s best to stick with a guy who’s stroking. Especially when he slaps the pitch mix he’ll see tonight.

Buxton has only seen Bryse Wilson once in his life, and he struck out that time. If we cared about batter vs pitcher, that would matter, but it doesn’t. What we should care about is the fact that Wilson has a 19% barrel rate to righties over the last 30 days. That’s pure insanity. On top of that, the White Sox bullpen has a 13% barrel rate over the last week, so when Wilson leaves, another pinata will appear. This feels easy.

Wednesday HR Parlay Leg #2 – Corbin Carroll to Hit a Home Run

There’s nothing like having a Corbin Carroll bet hanging around in our pending wagers. It’s like having a security blanket. While we’re watching the early games play out, we can rest easy knowing that we have an ace in the hole with Corbin. It’s a classic, “help is on the way” situation.

I mean, look at what he does to the two fastballs Taj Bradley throws the most.

Here’s the thing: I love Taj Bradley. I’m a Taj Bradley guy. But he’s a bulldog. An absolute beast. He likes to throw his fastball, and he’s going to throw it to whoever comes to the plate. Because of that, he gets himself into trouble sometimes. My guess is that it happens on Corbin’s first at-bat of the night. He’ll get a four-seamer, and that ball will get taken home by a lucky fan in the right-field bleachers. Feels right.

Wednesday HR Parlay Leg #3 – Tyler Soderstrom to Hit a Home Run

Finally, we’re going to need someone to tuck us in, and that somebody is Tyler Soderstrom. If we’re being honest, I just want someone playing at Sutter Health Park. It’s a great home run spot and the wind is blowing out tonight. It doesn’t get much better.

On top of all that, Tyler Soderstrom is set up nicely from a pitch mix perspective.

Tyler is going to see Kumar Rocker tonight, and that should mean fireworks. Our guy Kumar has what we call on the streets, a “barrel problem”. It’s bad. Especially to lefties. We’re talking 10+% over the last month. We just saw Tyler hit an absolute rocket last night and even though it didn’t clear a fence, it was a clear sign that he could put one into space at any moment. I think he does it tonight. Feels right.

Betting on home run props can be an exciting way to add some extra excitement to watching a baseball game. With the right strategy and a little bit of luck, you can potentially win big on a home run parlay. In this guide, we will walk you through how to bet on home run props and provide you with a hypothetical example of a +12259 HR parlay on Wednesday, April 23.

First and foremost, it’s important to understand what a home run prop bet is. A home run prop bet is a wager on whether a specific player will hit a home run during a game. You can also bet on the total number of home runs hit in a game or by a specific team. These bets can offer higher payouts than traditional moneyline or point spread bets, making them an attractive option for those looking to take a risk.

To place a home run prop bet, you will need to find a sportsbook that offers these types of wagers. Many online sportsbooks will have a section dedicated to player props where you can find home run bets. Once you have found the bet you want to place, simply select the player or team you think will hit a home run and enter the amount you want to wager.

Now, let’s walk through a hypothetical example of a +12259 HR parlay on Wednesday, April 23. For this parlay, let’s say you are betting on three players to hit a home run in their respective games:

1. Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels
2. Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees
3. Christian Yelich of the Milwaukee Brewers

Each player has odds of +4000 to hit a home run in their game. To calculate the potential payout for this parlay, you would multiply the odds of each player together:

+4000 x +4000 x +4000 = +64000000

This means that if all three players hit a home run on April 23, you would win $64,000 for every $1 wagered. While this is an extreme example, it shows the potential for big payouts when betting on home run props.

In conclusion, betting on home run props can be a fun and potentially lucrative way to spice up your baseball viewing experience. By understanding how these bets work and doing your research on players and teams, you can increase your chances of winning big on a home run parlay. Just remember to gamble responsibly and only wager what you can afford to lose. Good luck!
