Home-court advantage has lived up to its billing in the best-of-seven first-round series between the #4 Indiana Pacers (50-32, 20-20 away, 36-43-3 ATS) and #5 Milwaukee Bucks (48-34, 27-14 home, 43-38-2ATS). The home team has won the first three games both straight-up and against the spread, with an average margin of victory of 14.3 PPG. Oddsmakers don’t love their chances, positioning Indiana as a 4.5-point road underdog in the Pacers vs Bucks odds for Game 4.

The game total is currently sitting at 226.5. Game 1 (a 117-98 Indiana win) stayed 12 points under its total of 227.0. Game 2 (a 123-115 Indiana win) went nine points over its total of 229.0. Game 3 (a 117-101 Milwaukee win) stayed 11.5 points under its total of 229.5, prompting sportsbooks to lower the total three full points to a series low of 226.5.

Three of four regular-season meetings between these teams went over. The teams combined for at least 229 points in all four regular-season matchups.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (30.4 PPG, 11.9 RPG, 6.5 APG) has been all-world for Milwaukee throughout this series. After dropping 36 and 34 points in Games 1 and 2, respectively (with 30 total rebounds), he poured in 37 points, 12 boards, and six dimes in Game 3. He’s shooting a wildly efficient 67.7% from the field through 120 minutes of action.

The difference between the first two games of the series and Game 3 for the Bucks was that someone finally decided to help out Giannis. Gary Trent Jr added 37 points of his own on an electric 9-of-12 performance from beyond the arc. Damian Lillard returned from a month-long absence due to deep-vein thrombosis in Game 2. But he’s scored just 21 points on 6-of-25 shooting from the floor over the past two games.

MIL vs IND Player Props

NBA player props from DraftKings on April 27.

Giannis has the highest point total on the board by a huge margin for the fourth straight game in this series. At 33.5, Giannis’ total is 12 more than any other player on the board. Pascal Siakam (20.9 PPG, 6.9 RPG, 3.4 APG) has the highest total on the Pacers’ side at 21.5. Siakam has scored at least 24 points in every game so far in the series but has gone over 7.5 rebounds just once (11 in Game 2).

Giannis also has the highest rebound total at 13.5, six more than the next-highest, which is again Siakam.

Tyrese Haliburton (18,.6 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 9.2 APG) has the highest assist total at 10.5. Haliburton had 12 assists in Games 1 and 2 and ten in Game 3.

Bucks vs Pacers Prediction

There are a few Pacers/Bucks bets I really like tonight, and the first is Damian Lillard to stay under his point total of 19.5 points. Lillard has looked way off since returning to the lineup and, at age 34, I don’t expect him to be righting the ship terribly quickly this deep into the season after a month-long layoff. And with Giannis dominating – in a very efficient manner – Lillard’s shot attempts have been down as Milwaukee force feeds their former MVP. Lillard averaged just 12.5 FG attempts in Games 2 and 3, compared to 17.5 in 58 regular-season games.

I’m also going to bet Giannis to go over 33.5 for the fourth straight game. The defensively-suspect Pacers have had no answer for the Greek Freak and they simply don’t have the personnel to change that.

My last pick today is a the Bucks moneyline, which is as long as -176 at FanDuel. A three-leg parlay involving the first two player props and the Bucks’ moneyline pays out at +345.

IND vs MIL Picks:

  • Lillard under 19.5 points (-112) at FanDuel
  • Giannis over 33.5 points (-114) at FanDuel
  • Bucks moneyline (-176) at FanDuel

The Indiana Pacers will face off against the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series on Sunday night. The Bucks currently hold a 2-1 lead in the series, with the Pacers looking to even things up and force a Game 5.

The odds for Game 4 heavily favor the Bucks, who are currently listed as 7.5-point favorites. The over/under for the game is set at 220 points, indicating that oddsmakers are expecting a high-scoring affair.

When it comes to player props, all eyes will be on Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo. The reigning MVP has been dominant in this series, averaging 28.3 points, 16 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game. Look for Giannis to continue his strong play and potentially put up another monster stat line in Game 4.

On the Pacers side, look for guard Malcolm Brogdon to step up and lead the team in scoring. Brogdon has been a consistent performer for Indiana throughout the series, averaging 22 points per game. He will need to continue his scoring prowess if the Pacers hope to pull off the upset and even the series.

As for predictions, it’s hard to bet against the Bucks in this matchup. They have been the better team throughout the series and have the advantage of playing at home in Game 4. Look for Milwaukee to come out strong and secure a victory to take a commanding 3-1 series lead.

Overall, Game 4 between the Pacers and Bucks promises to be an exciting and high-stakes matchup. With both teams fighting for their playoff lives, expect a competitive game with plenty of fireworks on both ends of the court.
