The Philadelphia Eagles haven’t quite put the finishing touches on their 2025 Lombardi Trophy performance at Super Bowl 59, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start thinking about next year’s Super Bowl champion. Online sportsbooks have already released odds, with Philly headlining the list of 2026 Super Bowl favorites.

Super Bowl 60 Odds

The Eagles boast the shortest Super Bowl 60 odds at +600. They’re immediately followed by the Chiefs at +700, along with the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills. The Detroit Lions, who were a fixture at the top of the odds board for most of this season, are next at +900. Interestingly enough, they’re followed by the San Francisco 49ers and Cincinnati Bengals, two teams who failed to make the playoffs in 2024.

Super Bowl 2026 Odds: Top of the Board

The Eagles aren’t just winning Super Bowl 59, they are completely dominating, up 34-6 on KC in the fourth quarter. Jalen Hurts has played a near flawless game, while the defensive line has had Patrick Mahomes running for his life all night.

As far as next year goes, the offensive skill position group remains intact, but big changes are coming elsewhere. Most of their 16 unrestricted free agents lie on defense and along the offensive line. Zack Baun and Josh Sweat headline the list, and weakening Philadelphia in the trenches is the equivalent of stealing their superpower.

There’s also the Nick Sirianni factor. He was on the verge of being fired six months ago, and introduces volatility to this market. The highs are high, but the lows with him are worrisome. He’s not a coach you should feel comfortable investing in, as he’s just as likely to get fired as he is to win another ring.

As long as Mahomes and Andy Reid are in Kansas City, the Chiefs deserve to be among the favorites. They’ve made the Big Game in five of Mahomes’ seven years as a full-time starter, including four of the past five. KC has done a masterful job building its defense through the Draft, and won’t be hamstrung by the salary cap next season.

Yes, the offense looked putrid in Sunday’s Super Bowl loss. The biggest issue was a lack of star power at receiver, but the return of Rashee Rice should fix that. Rice was on his way to becoming a star before going down with a knee injury. He was one of the league’s leading receivers, and his ability to create separation could have made Mahomes’ life a whole lot easier versus the Eagles.

The AFC West is getting stronger, but the LA Chargers and Denver Broncos aren’t ready to threaten KC just yet. Expect another top-two seed and deep playoff run in 2025 for the Chiefs.

The Next Tier of 2026 Super Bowl Contenders

No disrespect to the Bills or Ravens, but if there’s a top-five team to invest in not named Kansas City, it’s Detroit. The Lions dream season was decimated by injuries, losing more players to IR than in any other campaign in franchise history. Ultimately, those injuries were too much to overcome, but their championship window is still open.

Superstar Aidan Hutchinson will be back next season, while the team still has plenty of cap flexibility. They’re young on defense and Jared Goff still has one more season on a cap friendly contract. Yes, they lost both coordinators, but a Sean Payton disciple is set to run the offense, while a Todd Bowles student will run the defense.

Detroit still possesses the most explosive offensive in football, while some better health on defense should vault them back into the Super Bowl conversation.

Super Bowl 60 Longshots

If we’re searching for a longshot, a pair of NFC teams at +1900 odds stand out. The Washington Commanders are fresh off an NFC Championship appearance, have a star QB on a rookie deal, and the third most cap space in the league. Their biggest free agents, Zach Ertz and Bobby Wagner, can easily be replaced, while top skill position talent will be lining up to play with Jayden Daniels.

Similar to the Lions, the Green Bay Packers season was derailed by injuries. The Pack lost nearly every starting pass catcher in their Wild Card defeat, but the future is still bright. Green Bay is one of the youngest teams in the league, and Matt LaFleur is a top-five coach. The defense is very young, but made huge strides this season under new DC Jeff Hafley.

Josh Jacobs told the media this week the Packers are one star receiver short of taking the next step. Jordan Love will be healthy next season, and Green Bay will have the benefit of playing a third place schedule. They were a trendy Super Bowl sleeper in 2024, but perhaps sharp bettors were just a year early.

As the NFL season progresses and teams continue to battle it out on the field, sportsbooks are already looking ahead to Super Bowl 60 and setting betting odds for potential matchups. One team that has emerged as a clear favorite in the early betting lines is the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles, led by star quarterback Jalen Hurts and a strong defense, have been impressive so far this season. They currently sit atop the NFC East with a solid record and are considered one of the top contenders in the conference.

In the latest Super Bowl 60 betting odds, the Eagles are favored over powerhouse teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and Baltimore Ravens. This is a testament to the strength of the Eagles’ roster and their potential to make a deep playoff run.

The Chiefs, led by superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes, have been a dominant force in the AFC in recent years. However, they have faced some challenges this season and are not as strong as they have been in previous seasons. The Bills and Ravens, on the other hand, have shown flashes of brilliance but have also struggled at times.

The Eagles’ strong play on both sides of the ball, along with their depth and talent at key positions, make them a formidable opponent for any team in the league. If they can continue to play at a high level and stay healthy, they have a legitimate shot at making it to Super Bowl 60 and potentially winning it all.

Of course, anything can happen in the NFL, and there are still many games to be played before the Super Bowl. But based on the early betting odds, it looks like the Eagles are a team to watch out for as they make their push towards a championship. Fans will certainly be keeping a close eye on this exciting team as they continue their quest for Super Bowl glory.
