One thing about the Detroit Lions is they can score points on anyone. Go back and look through their schedule. Literally everyone they played had to chase points and when that happens, teams have to lean on their passing game. It’s just the way it is which is why Washington will need their receivers Saturday night.

Obviously Terry McLaurin will be involved on Saturday night but if you’ve been watching Washington Commanders games lately, you’ve probably noticed that there are other guys putting in work out there. Namely Dyami Brown and Olamide Zaccheaus. I think it’s time we give these guys a chance to stuff some cash in our pockets.

For starters, Dyami Brown has been a real part of the Washington offense over the last five games. We’re talking at least four targets in all of them. What’s more important is he also has 3+ catches in every one of those games. How would he not get at least three catches in this game? Make it make sense.

Dyami isn’t the only guy getting work for Washington though. Zaccheaus is earning looks too. Over his last six games, he’s caught at least three balls in five of them. The only time he didn’t was when he only caught two in a game against Dallas that didn’t mean anything. Simply put, when the Lions start laying a beating on the Commanders, these guys are both catching three balls.

We all have favorite players and it’s no secret that my favorite player right now is Jameson Williams. What’s not to like? The man might be the fastest human to ever live. He also catches every single ball thrown near him.

The thing about Jamo is he is a reformed receiving yards guy. By that I mean, he used to do all of his work on minimal targets so if we wanted to bet him, we had to bet the over on his yardage prop. He simply didn’t get enough targets for us to responsibly bet the over on his receptions.

Things have changed in Detroit and now Jamo is finally getting the love he’s always deserved. His targets aren’t just bombs where he was asked to simply outrun his defender. Over his last seven games, he’s been targeted at least seven times in six of them. More important, he’s caught at least three balls in all of them.
