The projected NFL Draft teams for Shedeur Sanders, Ashton Jeanty and more superstars are changing by the minute. With selection night only a few days away, sportsbooks are constantly updating their betting lines to match the latest rumors, betting action and predictions.

I’ve got your updated look at NFL Draft Position odds for several top players, including Shedeur Sanders and Ashton Jeanty.

Updated Shedeur Sanders Draft Odds

Shedeur Sanders could become a Pittsburgh Steeler, according to sportsbooks. That’s right; the Colorado Buffaloes’ star pivot who was once projected to be a sure-fire top-five draft pick, is now at risk of falling out of the top-20.

Sanders’ draft position is listed at 10.5 at DraftKings, but with heavy -370 juice on the “Over”. This means the implied chance of Sanders being drafted outside the top-10 is nearly 80%.

Where will Shedeur Sanders Get Drafted?

Most interestingly, when you examine the “player drafted by” odds, the Steelers are now +180 favorites to land Shedeur. Now, this is only a 35.7% implied probability, but they’ve surged past the Saints, who were previously the betting favorites to draft Shedeur for weeks.

Pittsburgh, picking at No. 21, could trade up or hope Sanders falls. Mock drafts like Bucky Brooks’ project Sanders to the Steelers at No. 21. The fit makes sense with head coach Mike Tomlin and Pittsburgh’s pro-style offense.

While the Steelers are the favorites to draft Sanders, the QB is still +310 to be a top-10 pick, not a massive longshot by any means. The Browns and Giants are still very much in the mix, with odds in the +200 range implying significant interest and a 33% implied probability.

Updated Ashton Jeanty Draft Odds

Ashton Jeanty is now the favorite to be the fifth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, according to DraftKings. The Boise State running back has been gaining major traction after reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars, who hold this selection, are eyeing a “transformative talent”.

Jeanty was +600 to go fifth overall a couple of weeks ago on online sportsbooks, but is now the odds-on favorite at -125 on DraftKings. His meteoric rise as a top-5 draft prospect, particularly for the Jaguars at No. 5, defies the NFL’s trend of devaluing running backs. Only three RBs have gone in the top-5 since 2015.

Who Will be the Fifth Pick in the NFL Draft?

The Jaguars could opt for a defensive player like Georgia’s Jalon Walker or Michigan’s Will Johnson. However, Jeanty’s odds imply bettors believe Jacksonville will prioritize a game-changer at RB. After the Jags finished outside the top-20 in rushing offense last year, a potential “transcendent” prospect like Jeanty may be too hard to pass up.

Mock drafts are split, with some projecting Jeanty as high as No. 5 and others placing him closer to No. 10 (e.g., to the Bears). One thing we do know, however, is Jeanty is virtually a lock to be the first RB taken, at -1000 odds in that particular NFL draft props market.

Updated Mykel Williams Draft Odds

While most of the NFL Draft betting action is around offensive players, Mykel Williams is one defensive player who is seeing his odds shift. After I gave him out at Under 15.5 (plus money) in my NFL Draft position over/under early value, Williams is now listed with a whopping -600 juice to go under his number.

I’ve been bullish on Williams from the beginning, and now the market is catching up on just how elite this Georgia edge rusher truly is. The 6’5″, 265 lbs DE racked up 5.5 sacks, 10.5 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, and 34 total tackles in 13 games. He overcame an ankle injury early in the season to finish strong.

The New Orleans Saints, who were recently favored to draft Sanders, are now favored to be the team that scoops up the Columbus native Williams. New Orleans is searching for a franchise quarterback, especially with news of Derek Carr’s shoulder injury. However, there is a belief they could trade up with their second pick to get a guy they like.

Odds to be Ninth Overall Pick

The Saints were bottom-five in sacks generated last season, a glaring weakness. Their current edge rotation, including aging veterans like Cameron Jordan (36 years old) and inconsistent performers like Chase Young, lacks a long-term cornerstone. New Orleans at nine makes sense as a potential landing spot for Williams if the team doesn’t pursue a QB.
