- Week 8 is in the bag except for the matter of the New York Giants vs Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football
- Like any responsible gambler, we need to grab some action on this thing and we need to do it now
- Find two of my favorite Giants vs Steelers player props to bet for this MNF matchup
We only have one NFL game tonight but if we’re being honest, we will get by. For 46 years, I’ve been watching just one NFL game on Monday nights and I’m doing fine. I mean, obviously, we want two, but if there is only one, we’ll be fine. We’ve done more with less. Lucky for us, this one game tonight is between the New York Giants vs Pittsburgh Steelers. We’ve got enough star power to make this thing interesting. Even if we didn’t, we have gambling so we’ll be plenty interested. I’ve gone through every single NFL player prop I could find, and if I’m being honest, we have the perfect setup for greatness. This could easily be the greatest night of our lives. Maybe even better.

Jaylen Warren Is Fully Healthy
What we want in this game we play is change. Anytime there is change, the books are at a disadvantage since they have to adjust their pricing. Last week in Pittsburgh, we saw two changes: Russell Wilson was installed as the starter, and Jaylen Warren was fully back from the injured list. That’s the kind of change we need.
This has nothing to do with our bet, but check out how this guy just eats pass rushers.

Here’s the thing we learned about the Steelers last week. Their backfield is split. Kind of. Warren actually played more snaps than Najee Harris, but Harris had more rush attempts. The haters are going to say that the split was game-script dependant but Harris was on the field for Pittsburgh’s final possession. Simply put, game script had nothing to do with the split.
Tonight, the Steelers will see the New York Giants. So far this season, the Giants have turned out to be the worst run defense in the NFL. We’re talking 5-plus yards per carry for opposing rushers. The Steelers know this and you have to think they run the ball all night. And now that Justin Fields is out of the mix, that means more carries for the backs. This feels easy.

Wandale Robinson Catches Everything
What we need tonight is a guy that catches balls near the line of scrimmage. Those are the easiest ones to catch. Especially, when Danny Dimes is the quarterback throwing these balls. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand this.
Lucky for us, the Giants have Wandale Robinson and everyone has known for awhile that he would thrive in Brian Daboll’s offense.
Wan’Dale Robinson will be a key part of Brian Daboll’s offense moving forward
Just one year removed from his torn ACL, in a season where the #Giants offense struggled, he caught 60 passes for 525 yards with just one touchdown.

Here’s the thing. There is no chance the Giants will be able to run the ball on the Steelers tonight. Pittsburgh has the third-best run defense in the NFL. Nobody can run on them. On top of that, the Steelers should be able to move the ball on the Giants. Simply put, at some point, the Giants will be playing this thing from behind which means the ball will have to be in the air.
Obviously the Giants have Malik Nabers and he should get his. The thing is, Wandale works a little closer to the line of scrimmage. And anytime we’re betting a wide receiver for the Giants, we want him close to the line of scrimmage. Wandale has gone over this number in five of seven games this season and tonight should be number six. It’s the perfect game script.
This could easily go down as the greatest bet of all time. Maybe better.

As Monday Night Football approaches in Week 8, fans and bettors alike are eagerly anticipating the matchup between the New York Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers. While the game itself is sure to be exciting, one way to add even more excitement to the experience is by placing player prop bets.
Player prop bets allow bettors to wager on specific outcomes or performances by individual players rather than just the overall outcome of the game. With a plethora of talented players on both teams, there are plenty of enticing prop bets to consider for Monday night’s game.
For the New York Giants, one player to keep an eye on is quarterback Daniel Jones. Jones has shown flashes of brilliance throughout his career, but he has also been prone to turnovers. One prop bet to consider is whether Jones will throw an interception in the game. Given the strength of the Steelers’ defense, this could be a risky bet, but it could also pay off big if Jones can protect the ball.
Another player to watch for the Giants is running back Devonta Freeman. With star running back Saquon Barkley out for the season due to injury, Freeman has stepped into the starting role. A prop bet on Freeman’s rushing yards or total touchdowns could be a smart play, especially if the Giants are able to establish a strong running game against the Steelers’ defense.
On the Pittsburgh Steelers side, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is always a player to watch. Roethlisberger has been playing at a high level this season and has a number of talented receivers at his disposal. A prop bet on Roethlisberger’s passing yards or touchdown passes could be a good choice, especially if the Steelers are able to exploit the Giants’ secondary.
Another player to consider for the Steelers is wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. Smith-Schuster has been a reliable target for Roethlisberger this season and has the ability to break out for a big game at any time. A prop bet on Smith-Schuster’s receiving yards or total receptions could be a fun way to get in on the action during Monday night’s game.
Overall, there are plenty of exciting player prop bets to consider for Monday Night Football in Week 8. Whether you’re a fan of the Giants, the Steelers, or just looking to add some extra excitement to the game, placing a few prop bets could make for an even more thrilling viewing experience. Just remember to gamble responsibly and enjoy the game!
