Best NFL Player Prop Bets for Week 15 Sunday Games (Dec. 15)

  • It’s never too early to lock in for the NFL Week 15 slate on December 15th, 2024
  • The best way I know how to get in on the action is by betting NFL player props
  • Getting bets in on Friday is my favorite strategy, and it’s no different for this week

I opened my sportsbook apps this morning, and honestly, I’ve never been happier. It seems like almost every single game already has player props posted. What a great world to live in. Most Fridays, we have to fight for our props. Sometimes, we don’t even see anything posted until after lunchtime on Friday. It’s tragic. But not this week. This week, the traders were on point, and I’m giving them a big ole pat on the back for it. Nice work, people.

All that work honestly feels like it was for nothing, though, because I was only looking for two games. The first one is the Miami Dolphins/Houston Texans game. Then, after they’re done, we should be sweating out the Buffalo Bills/Detroit Lions matchup. Both of these games have points written all over them, so they’re exactly what bettors like us are looking for. It feels like God and Santa got together and said, “Here, take these early Christmas gifts”. I love it.

This could easily be the greatest Sunday of our entire lives.

Tyreek Hill Is Back

Everybody is hating on Tyreek Hill because he hasn’t done much this season. It happens. When you get drafted in the first round of every fantasy draft on the planet, then don’t produce, the world turns on you. It’s a fact of life that will never change. Even if it wasn’t even his fault since his quarterback got hurt.

The thing is, Tyreek knows his quarterback is fully back, and he knows just what to say to get fed the ball.

I’m the last guy who wants to make excuses for these guys, but this season is not Tyreek’s fault. You can’t go from Tua Tagovailoa throwing balls to you to Skylar Thompson. That’s ridiculous. It’s like going from filet mignon to spam. Who can make that work?

But Tua is back now, and damn it, he looks good. We’re talking two 330+ passing-yard games in a row. And since we know how the pass game in the NFL works, we know that if Tua is putting up numbers, then Tyreek should be, too. In those last two games, our boy Reek has gone 80+ in both. Simply put, this combo is back.

This week, we’ve got the perfect situation for Tua and Tyreek. The Miami Dolphins are taking on the Houston Texans, who are highly likely to hang points on the Dolphins. We’re talking a possible 30+ here people. When that happens, Tua will be forced to take to the air to hang around, which means Tyreek Hill should be waving bye to people.

The idea that 80+ receiving yards is being priced at +121 is crazy given the situation. Feels right.

Jameson Williams Is Blazing Fast, Too

When we think of blazing-fast receivers, we probably think of Tyreek Hill first. That’s fair, but there’s another guy in the league now that could also outrun a cheetah. His name is Jameson Williams, and he plays for the Detroit Lions.

Like Tyreek, he’s also good at talking up his quarterback.

The thing with Jamo is, we don’t even know if we’ve seen his best game yet. The Lions have a million different ways to beat teams so Jamo doesn’t see that many targets. Still, that number is on the rise as he’s seen at least seven balls in each of his last three games. Even better, he doesn’t need many to put up video game numbers.

For Jamo and the Lions, it’s all about matchup. If they play a team with a capable offense, they’ll just trade scores all day. If they’re playing a “Bears-like” offense, they’ll just sit on the ball and grind clock. It actually sucks for us Jamo guys, but I think we can all respect it.

The good news is, this week won’t be a “sit-on-it” game for Detroit. The Buffalo Bills are coming to town, so the Lions will need all the points they can get. What makes this whole thing perfect is, Buffalo will give it up in the pass game. Just last week, in a similar style game, the Bills allowed both Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua to go for 90+ receiving yards on them.

We only need 60+ from Jamo. Feels right.

As we head into Week 15 of the NFL season, there are plenty of exciting matchups to look forward to on Sunday. While betting on the outcome of games is always popular, player prop bets can add an extra layer of excitement to your football viewing experience. Here are some of the best NFL player prop bets to consider for the Sunday games on December 15th.

1. Lamar Jackson – Over 75.5 rushing yards
The Baltimore Ravens quarterback has been a dual-threat force all season long, leading the league in rushing yards by a quarterback. Jackson is known for his speed and elusiveness, making him a threat to break off big runs at any moment. With a matchup against the New York Jets, who have struggled against mobile quarterbacks this season, Jackson should have plenty of opportunities to rack up rushing yards.

2. Christian McCaffrey – Over 100.5 total yards
The Carolina Panthers running back has been one of the most productive players in the league this season, leading the NFL in total yards from scrimmage. McCaffrey is a threat both as a runner and a receiver, making him a versatile weapon for the Panthers offense. With a favorable matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, who have struggled against running backs this season, McCaffrey should have no trouble surpassing the 100-yard mark.

3. Michael Thomas – Over 7.5 receptions
The New Orleans Saints wide receiver has been a reception machine this season, leading the league in catches by a wide margin. Thomas has developed a strong rapport with quarterback Drew Brees and is a favorite target in the Saints passing attack. With a matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, who have struggled to defend against top receivers this season, Thomas should have plenty of opportunities to rack up receptions.

4. Aaron Jones – Over 0.5 rushing touchdowns
The Green Bay Packers running back has been a touchdown machine this season, leading the league in rushing touchdowns. Jones is a powerful runner with a nose for the end zone, making him a threat to score every time he touches the ball. With a matchup against the Chicago Bears, who have struggled against the run this season, Jones should have a good chance to find the end zone at least once.

5. Deshaun Watson – Over 250.5 passing yards
The Houston Texans quarterback has been one of the most productive passers in the league this season, ranking among the top quarterbacks in passing yards. Watson has a strong arm and is capable of making big plays downfield, making him a threat to put up big passing numbers in any game. With a matchup against the Tennessee Titans, who have struggled against the pass this season, Watson should have plenty of opportunities to surpass the 250-yard mark.

When placing your bets on these player props, be sure to do your research and consider factors such as matchups, injuries, and recent performance. By making informed decisions, you can increase your chances of coming out ahead on Sunday’s games. Good luck!
