  • College football fans have a lot to look forward to on Saturday, September 14, 2024
  • Two games have caught my eye, and both deserve a slap or two from us bettors
  • See the best way to bet on these Saturday college football games below

We have to be the luckiest people on the planet because we’ve got not one, but two nationally televised games we can bet on in primetime tonight.

The first one is the UCF Knights/TCU Horned Frogs game which starts at 7:30 pm ET on FOX. If we flip the channel to NBC at the same time, we’ll see the Indiana Hoosiers visiting the UCLA Bruins. I don’t want to jinx it, but this could easily be the greatest night of our lives.

The best thing we have going for us is that we’ve got the tools right here at SBD to help us with our bets. Lucky for us, the tools have confirmed what I thought was going to happen. All that’s left for us to do now is, put our cash on the table and watch it grow. What a time to be alive.

UCF Runs Wild Saturday Night

So far this season, the UCF Knights have pulverized both of the teams they’ve played. One game was 57-3 while the other was 45-14. The haters are going to say that these games weren’t against “real” teams and they’re right but what are the Knights supposed to do? They can only play whoever is on their schedule.

One thing we know for sure, whatever the Knights do Saturday night, they’ll look good doing it.

Here’s the thing about UCF, they can just run the ball all night long. Gus Malzahn does what he does and he’s got the horse to do that this season. KJ Jefferson came over from Arkansas to play quarterback and he’s a perfect fit for what Gus likes to do. He’s gone for 39+ rushing yards in both games while also being efficient throwing the ball. Throw in the fact that he’s behind a good line and has multiple beasts at the running back position and TCU has a problem.

From a TCU perspective, they aren’t a bad team. They actually might be good. The problem I have with them is they barely beat Stanford a couple of weeks ago. Quarterback, Ashton Daniels, ran all over them which makes me think they will have problems with KJ Jefferson. If that’s the case, they won’t be able to score on UCF the same way they did Stanford. All signs point to a UCF win tonight. Feels right.

  • The Pick: UCF Knights ML (+115)

Indiana Could Be Legit

The Indiana Hoosiers could easily be the best team that no one is talking about right now. Go up and ask anyone. I bet you anything that they won’t say a word about Indiana football. People are just not talking about them. The thing is, they should be though. The Hoosiers could actually be legit.

We don’t have to deep dive too much into this one. The Hoosiers hit it out of the park when they lured Curt Cignetti from James Madison. If you remember, his James Madison teams were disgusting. He brought some of those kids with him and the rest has been history. They beat a decent FIU team in their first game and then throttled Western Illinois the last time they put on their unis. It was bad.

Tonight they’ll see a UCLA team that just isn’t good. It took a last-minute field goal to get them by Hawaii last time out. They haven’t seen anything close to what former MAC superstar, Kurtis Rourke, is packing and it will show. If we’re being honest, I almost expect this to be a beatdown. For that reason, I threw an alt line out there for the people. Feels right.

As college football season kicks into high gear, fans and bettors alike are eagerly looking for the best bets to make for tonight’s games on September 14th. With a slate of exciting matchups on tap, there are plenty of opportunities to cash in on some winning bets. Here are some top picks to consider for tonight’s games:

1. Clemson vs. Syracuse: Clemson is coming off a dominant performance against Texas A&M and looks to continue their winning ways against Syracuse. The Tigers are heavy favorites in this matchup, but the Orange have shown they can be a tough opponent in the past. Look for Clemson to cover the spread and come out on top in this game.

2. Florida vs. Kentucky: Florida is looking to bounce back from a tough loss to Miami earlier in the season, while Kentucky is coming off a big win against Toledo. The Gators are favored in this matchup, but the Wildcats have shown they can be a formidable opponent. This game could go either way, so consider taking the underdog in this matchup.

3. USC vs. BYU: USC is coming off a tough loss to Stanford and looks to rebound against BYU. The Trojans are favored in this matchup, but the Cougars have shown they can compete with top teams in the past. Look for this game to be a close one, with BYU potentially pulling off the upset.

4. Ohio State vs. Indiana: Ohio State has been dominant so far this season, while Indiana has struggled in their first few games. The Buckeyes are heavy favorites in this matchup, and it’s likely they will cover the spread and come out on top in this game.

5. Michigan State vs. Arizona State: Michigan State is coming off a big win against Western Michigan and looks to continue their winning ways against Arizona State. The Spartans are favored in this matchup, but the Sun Devils have shown they can be a tough opponent. Look for Michigan State to cover the spread and come out on top in this game.

When making your bets for tonight’s games, be sure to do your research and consider factors such as injuries, recent performance, and head-to-head matchups. By making informed decisions, you can increase your chances of cashing in on some winning bets. Good luck!
