Schroder, Wagner Brothers Keep Germany Perfect

For Germany, the round-robin was a Dennis Schroder showcase. The 30-year-old, who’s already bounced around to seven different teams during his 11-season NBA tenure, has played arguably the best basketball of his life during the 2024 Olympics. To no one’s surprise, Giannis leads the player props at 28.5 points. Franz Wagner has the highest total among Germany players at 20.5 followed closely by Schroder at 18.5. Schroder is also tied for the highest assist total at 7.5 alongside Greek point guard Nick Calathes.

Greece vs Germany Prediction

This line opened at 6.5 and has been steadily climbing. Germany has been undeniably impressive in this tournament so far, but Greece kept both of its losses within seven points. In a 40-minute game against Giannis, it’s difficult to create too big of a gap.

I don’t expect Greece to pull off an upset here; the Germans are far too deep with NBA talent. But I will be very surprised if the feisty, slow-tempo Greeks let the score get out of hand.

Greece vs Germany picks:

  • Alt. spread: Germany -4.5 (-188)
  • Giannis under 28.5 points (-130)
  • Under 161.5 (-112)
