Top Player Prop Bets to Consider for Super Bowl 59 Matchup Between Eagles and Chiefs

  • The Super Bowl is basically here at this point so it’s time to lock in and see what’s what
  • We can’t have enough action on this thing since it’s the last game of the season
  • See two more of my favorite Eagles vs Chiefs player prop bets for this year’s Super Bowl

We’re almost there people. The end is near and as tough as it is, I think I’m finally ready. The only thing left to do now is go through the board and look for any bets we may have missed for the Super Bowl. Obviously, lines are always changing and things are being added so we can’t afford to take time away from the books. This is our last shot at greatness for this season so we need to take it. Lucky for us, I went over the board one last time before the weekend and two plus-money bangers came popping out. All you have to do now is read about them below. Feels easy.

Chiefs vs Eagles Player Props to Bet

Player Receptions Receiving Yards Pick
Jahan Dotson (Eagles) 0.5 (Ov -130 / Un +100) 10.5 (Ov +200 / Un -260) Over 10.5 Receiving Yards (+200)
Player Receptions Receiving Yards Pick
Dallas Goedert (Eagles) 4.5 (Ov -150 / Un +115) 50.5 (Ov -125 / Un -105) 25+ Yard Longest Reception (+190)

I’m looking at two tight end bets in the Super Bowl with the first being a move on Jahan Dotson at +200 odds and the second on Noah Gray at +332 odds.

What If Jahan Dotson Catches a Ball?

In the Super Bowl, we have to find the under-the-radar guys. Each team has two weeks to game-plan for this thing so we can’t just go with the obvious guys. It’s been that way since the very first Super Bowl and it will be that way until the last one.

What we need to do is find the guys doing the dirty work. Jahan Dotson is that guy for the Eagles.

Here’s the thing with this bet, the Eagles may have to throw the ball more than they want to in this game. The Chiefs have been here before and they could easily play this thing with a lead. If/when that happens, we may see Jalen Hurts throwing the ball which opens up some of the “other” Eagles.

One guy that stands out due to price and line is Jahan Dotson. The haters are going to say that he hasn’t caught a pass in weeks and that’s true. But what the haters are forgetting is, price matters. We’re getting a wide receiver to go over 11 receiving yards at +200. That’s crazy. Especially since the last time he caught a ball, it went for 11 yards.

Obviously his last catch has nothing to do with this one other than prove the point that this bet could easily be won on one play. The Chiefs have been good all year against opposing teams’ number one and two receivers. It’s not crazy to think Jahan could have a play drawn up for him at some point in this game. Feels right.

Dallas Goedert Goes Deep?

We need more Philadelphia Eagles pass catcher stuff. We just do. They haven’t trailed much this season so they haven’t really been in a positon to have to throw the ball. The thing is, they could easily find themselves trailing in this thing which would give us more bites at the Philly pass-catcher apple. I like apples.

The beauty of Dallas Goedert is, the Eagles don’t have to be trailing or throwing any more than normal for him to be involved. It looks like bettors are catching on to that fact.

Of course I like Goedert’s receiving yards prop but I want a plus-money banger. They always feel better than the standard receiving line moves. Lucky for us, we have the longest reception market and it looks like it fits like a glove for Goedert.

We normally don’t take longest reception numbers for tight ends but Goedert isn’t a normal tight end. He’s had a catch of 24+ yards in every game in this playoff run so far. With the way the Chiefs play defense, he’s the obvious guy for a seam route down the field. Dalton Schulz had a 34-yard reception against these Chiefs so it’s not like we’re talking about something that hasn’t been done.

At +190, this feels like a must-bet.

As Super Bowl 59 approaches, sports bettors are eagerly anticipating the matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. While traditional bets on the game’s outcome are always popular, player prop bets offer a unique opportunity to wager on specific player performances during the game. Here are some top player prop bets to consider for the Super Bowl 59 matchup between the Eagles and Chiefs.

1. Patrick Mahomes Passing Yards: One of the most popular player prop bets for any Chiefs game is predicting how many passing yards star quarterback Patrick Mahomes will accumulate. Mahomes is known for his arm strength and accuracy, so betting on him to throw for over 300 yards could be a safe bet.

2. Jalen Hurts Rushing Yards: On the Eagles’ side, quarterback Jalen Hurts is a dual-threat player who is just as dangerous with his legs as he is with his arm. Betting on Hurts to rush for over 50 yards could be a profitable prop bet, especially if the Eagles rely heavily on their ground game.

3. Tyreek Hill Receiving Yards: Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is known for his speed and big-play ability. Betting on Hill to have over 100 receiving yards in the Super Bowl could pay off, especially if he breaks free for a long touchdown reception.

4. DeVonta Smith Touchdowns: Eagles rookie wide receiver DeVonta Smith has been a standout player all season, and betting on him to score a touchdown in the Super Bowl could be a smart move. Smith has a knack for finding the end zone, so betting on him to score at least one touchdown could be a profitable prop bet.

5. Travis Kelce Receptions: Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is one of the best pass-catching tight ends in the league. Betting on Kelce to have over 7 receptions in the Super Bowl could be a safe bet, as he is a favorite target of Mahomes in crucial situations.

6. Miles Sanders Total Yards: Eagles running back Miles Sanders is a versatile player who can contribute both in the running and passing game. Betting on Sanders to accumulate over 100 total yards in the Super Bowl could be a solid prop bet, especially if the Eagles look to get him involved early and often.

Overall, player prop bets offer a unique and exciting way to wager on individual player performances during the Super Bowl. By considering these top player prop bets for the Eagles vs. Chiefs matchup, sports bettors can add an extra layer of excitement to the big game and potentially cash in on some lucrative payouts.
