The Philadelphia Eagles vs Kansas City Chiefs odds have been open for more than a week by this point, meaning millions of dollars have already poured in on both sides of the spread, moneyline, and total. The Super Bowl 59 spread and total look much the same as they did at the outset, but the total has been bouncing around.
KC Chiefs vs PHI Eagles Odds for Super Bowl 59
The Chiefs, who are back-to-back Super Bowl champions and are looking for the first-ever three-peat, are listed as a 1.5-point neutral-field favorite over the Eagles, who won their first and so far only Super Bowl in 2017. The Chiefs are also -125 on the moneyline, giving them a 55.56% implied win probability. The Eagles are priced at +105 on the moneyline, which carries a 48.78% implied win probability. The spread and total are both unchanged since they first opened last Sunday night.

The game total has moved down a full point over the last seven days, falling from 49.5 to 48.5. But the over is a sizable favorite at -118, which generally means we could see it move back up in the coming days.
As two-timed defending champions, the Chiefs are riding a nine-game postseason win streak that dates back to January 2023.
As the Chiefs vs Eagles public betting splits, which are set out in the table below, demonstrate, the spread is likely going to move in Philadelphia’s favor if it moves at all.
KC vs PHI Public Betting Splits
The NFL public betting splits currently show the Eagles getting a massive 77% of ATS handle as slight 1.5-point underdogs, leaving just 23% for the reigning champions. The moneyline split isn’t quite as stark, but also skews to the Eagles: Philadelphia is currently getting 60% of moneyline handle on just 49% of the wagers.
The Chiefs’ nine-game straight-up playoff win streak has also seen the team crush the number; Kansas City is 7-2 against the spread in that span. And one of those ATS losses, a 23-14 victory over Houston in this year’s Divisional Round as 9.5-point favorites, was a win for many KC bettors. That line opened at Kansas City -8.5 before getting bet up.
The splits on the game total show the public leaning pretty heavily towards the over. As of 9 pm ET on Sunday night, the over had attracted 66% of game-total handle, along with 75% of the O/U tickets.
The Super Bowl over/under trends show that the big game has been fairly low scoring of late, at least lower than expected. The under has hit in five of the last six Super Bowls. But the lone exception in that six-year span is the Super Bowl 57 matchup between these same Chiefs and Eagles, which resulted in a 73-point outburst (38-35 KC win) against a total of 51.5.

As Super Bowl 59 approaches, football fans and bettors alike are eagerly anticipating the matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. Both teams have had successful seasons and are poised to put on an exciting show for viewers.
According to the latest odds, the Chiefs are currently favored to win the Super Bowl, with many sportsbooks listing them as the favorites to come out on top. This is not surprising given their strong performance throughout the regular season and playoffs. Led by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs have one of the most explosive offenses in the league, capable of putting up points in a hurry.
On the other hand, the Eagles are seen as the underdogs in this matchup. However, they should not be underestimated, as they have shown resilience and determination throughout the season. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has been a key player for the Eagles, using his dual-threat abilities to keep defenses on their toes.
In terms of betting trends, many bettors are likely to place their money on the Chiefs to win the game outright. However, there are also plenty of opportunities for prop bets and other types of wagers that can add excitement to the game. From predicting the first touchdown scorer to the total number of points scored, there are numerous options for bettors to consider.
As with any sporting event, it is important for bettors to do their research and consider all factors before placing their bets. Injuries, weather conditions, and other variables can all impact the outcome of the game. Additionally, it is always wise to bet responsibly and not wager more than you can afford to lose.
Overall, the Super Bowl 59 matchup between the Chiefs and Eagles promises to be a thrilling game that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. Whether you are a die-hard fan or just looking to add some excitement to the game, there are plenty of betting options available to make this year’s Super Bowl even more memorable.
