  • See my favorite Eagles vs Chiefs longshot player props for the Super Bowl

This is it people. We’re saying goodbye to the NFL for a few months but not before one final game for all the marbles. I think we all know what that means: longshot player props. A lot of bettors shy away from the longshot stuff because they simply don’t have the testicular fortitude to sweat out such wagers. That’s fine. If they’re not for you, then they’re just not for you. But if you aren’t afraid of magic, then I suggest searching for some longshots that you like. They’re by far the most rewarding wager in all of sports betting. If you don’t want to go searching, then just scroll down and tail me on my favorite two longshot player prop bets for Super Bowl 59. Feels right.

Travis Kelce Is Going to Go Off

In a big game like this, it feels good to go with guys that have been there done that. Obviously the books know who these guys are and the “sharps” will call us “squares” for betting them, but whatever. This is the Super Bowl, it’s no time to get cute. We need winners.

That’s why our first “longshot” move is going to be on Travis Kelce. The man holds literally every playoff record for everything. He is the definition of “been there done that”.

Cover your ears Swifties, this bet really isn’t that much about Travis Kelce being good. He is good, we all know that. We’ve already been through all of the post-season records he holds. Even still, this bet is about something entirely different. The Philadelphia Eagles’ defense.

These Eagles are good on the defensive side of the ball. They are literally the number one defense in terms of DVOA in the entire NFL. They allowed the fewest yards in the league this season as well as the fewest points. This group is just nasty. Ask anybody.

So why are we talking a Travis Kelce over? Because that’s the way the Chiefs can move the ball. I know the Eagles were number one in the NFL in yards allowed to tight ends in the regular season, but the playoffs have been a different story. They’ve allowed 28 receptions for 227 yards to the tight end position.

When push comes to shove in the Super Bowl, it’s a good bet that Travis Kelce will be involved. He literally has to be.

Noah Gray Could Show Up

Every Super Bowl needs a “who the hell is that guy”. It’s just more fun to be at a party and have a ticket on someone that nobody else has ever heard of. This year, that guy is Noah Brown. He’s perfect in every single way.

And before you haters bring up Hollywood Brown, give me a chance to explain.

It’s been well documented that when Hollywood Brown came back from injury, Noah Gray basically disappeared. It happens. There was another mouth to feed and when that happens, not everyone can eat as much. It’s sad really but it’s just the Circle of Life.

But here’s the thing, the Chiefs’ wide receivers will likely not be an option in the Super Bowl. The Eagles have completely locked up that position so far in the playoffs. On top of that, Vic Fangio’s scheme is one that takes away the “big play”. He’s a 3-4 guy, zone guy. They’re a dink-and-dunk team.

But as we already know, the tight end position is where we can get some production. And even though Noah Gray had been phased out of the offense after Hollywood Brown came back, he still had a three-catch performance against the Houston Texans this postseason. At this price, it would be irresponsible for us to pass on Noah Gray.

He could be our “Who the hell is that guy?” for this Super Bowl.

As the Super Bowl approaches, football fans are eagerly anticipating the matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. While all eyes will be on star players like Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts, there are also some lesser-known players who could make a big impact on the game.

One way to add some excitement to the Super Bowl is by betting on player props, which allow you to wager on specific outcomes involving individual players. For those looking for a longshot bet, here are some top Chiefs vs Eagles player props to consider:

1. Mecole Hardman – Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Mecole Hardman may not be the most high-profile player on the Chiefs roster, but he has shown flashes of brilliance throughout the season. With his speed and agility, Hardman is always a threat to score a touchdown. At long odds, betting on him to score at any time during the game could pay off big.

2. Quez Watkins – Over/Under Receiving Yards
Quez Watkins has emerged as a reliable target for Jalen Hurts in the Eagles’ passing game. While he may not be a household name, Watkins has the potential to put up big numbers in the Super Bowl. Betting on him to go over his receiving yards total could be a lucrative bet for those willing to take a chance.

3. Clyde Edwards-Helaire – First Touchdown Scorer
Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been a key player for the Chiefs’ offense this season, especially in the red zone. With his ability to find the end zone, betting on him to score the first touchdown of the game could be a longshot worth considering.

4. Dallas Goedert – Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Dallas Goedert has been a reliable target for Jalen Hurts in the Eagles’ passing game, especially in the red zone. With his size and hands, Goedert is always a threat to score a touchdown. Betting on him to find the end zone at any time during the game could be a profitable bet for those looking for a longshot.

While these player props may be considered longshots, they offer an exciting opportunity to add some extra intrigue to the Super Bowl. Whether you’re a Chiefs or Eagles fan, or just looking to spice up your viewing experience, consider placing a bet on one of these top player props for the big game.
