Dallas Goedert OVER 48.5 Receiving Yards
The single-most-popular Super Bowl bet at BetMGM so far is Philadelphia tight end Dallas Goedert to go over 48.5 receiving yards against the Kansas City Chiefs. Over 48.5 was originally priced at -115.
Goedert has hit at least 47 receiving yards in all three playoff games and four straight dating back to the regular season. In that span, he’s averaged 60.8 yards per game.
The 30-year-old had a relatively quiet season with just 496 yards, his lowest number since his rookie season. But he only played nine full games due to injury.
His career postseason numbers are excellent. Excluding the two playoff games from his rookie season, when he was rarely used, Goedert has averaged 57.2 YPG in nine postseason contests.
He had 60 yards on six catches and seven targets when the Eagles and Chiefs met in Super Bowl 57 two years ago. Kansas City allowed the third-most yards to tight ends this season (1,323), with only the Raiders (1,443) and Cardinals (1,355) surrendering more.
Xavier Worthy OVER 4.5 Rushing Yards
The second-most-popular Super Bowl wager so far at BetMGM is speedy Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy to go over 4.5 rushing yards.
The fleet-footed Texas product has had at least one rush attempt in six of the last seven games, and totaled 104 rushing yards on 20 carries during 17 regular-season games.
In last week’s AFC title game victory over the Bills, Worthy had 16 yards on two carries (both for eight yards). The week prior, though, he had -8 yards on one carry against the Texans.
The Eagles graded out with the second-best rush defense in the league at PFF during the regular season. It’s entirely plausible that Andy Reid will need to scheme up some reverses and the like to move the ball on the ground.
Saquon Barkley Longest Rush OVER 23.5 Yards
It feels like Saquon Barkley has been hitting home runs out of the backfield all season long for the Eagles. Bettors are pounding the over on his longest rush, with the number set at 23.5 yards.
In last week’s 55-23 demolition of the Commanders, Barkley had a long of 60 yards. In Philly’s 28-22 win over the Rams the week before, he had a long of 78. But in the Eagles’ 22-10 Wild Card victory over the Packers, his long was just 17 yards.
Oddsmakers were obviously very calculating in setting this total. In 20 games this season including playoffs, Barkley’s longest rush has been over 23.5 yards ten times and under 23.5 ten times.
The flip side of this coin, of course, is the Kansas City defense, and it’s been loath to surrender big gains on the ground. Other than a 62-yard scamper from Cleveland’s Jerome Ford in Week 15, the Chiefs didn’t allow a rush over 33 yards.
In 19 total games including postseason, the longest rush by a non-QB has only been over 23.5 yards on three occasions. The average longest rush by a non-QB in those 19 games is just 17.8 yards, and that’s including Ford’s 62-yarder.

As Super Bowl 59 approaches, football fans and bettors alike are eagerly anticipating the matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. With both teams boasting strong rosters and talented quarterbacks, this game is sure to be a thrilling showdown. For those looking to place bets on the big game, here are some top bets based on current trends:
1. Over/Under Total Points: One popular bet for the Super Bowl is the over/under on the total number of points scored in the game. With both the Chiefs and Eagles having high-powered offenses, this could be a high-scoring affair. The current trend suggests that the over may be the safer bet, as both teams have shown the ability to put up big numbers on the scoreboard.
2. Moneyline: The moneyline bet is a straightforward wager on which team will win the game outright. While the Chiefs are currently favored to win, the Eagles have been known to pull off upsets in big games. If you’re looking for a potential underdog bet, the Eagles may be worth considering based on their recent performances.
3. Point Spread: The point spread bet involves betting on whether a team will win by a certain number of points or not. The Chiefs are currently favored by a few points, but the Eagles have a strong defense that could keep the game close. If you believe the Eagles can cover the spread or even pull off a win, this could be a profitable bet.
4. Player Prop Bets: In addition to traditional bets, there are also player prop bets that can add excitement to the game. You can bet on individual player performances such as total passing yards, touchdowns scored, or even which player will score the first touchdown of the game. Keep an eye on key players like Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts when considering these bets.
5. Halftime Bets: For those looking to add some extra excitement to the game, halftime bets are a popular option. You can bet on things like which team will be leading at halftime, the total number of points scored in the first half, or even which team will score first in the second half. These bets can keep you engaged throughout the entire game.
Overall, there are plenty of betting options available for Super Bowl 59 between the Chiefs and Eagles. By staying informed on current trends and doing your research, you can make educated bets that could lead to a profitable outcome. Whether you’re a seasoned bettor or just looking to have some fun during the game, these top bets are sure to add to the excitement of Super Bowl Sunday.
