A trip to the AFC Championship Game is on the line when the Houston Texans (10-7, 5-4 away) visit the 2-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs (15-2, 8-0 home) in Divisional Round playoff action. KC is seeking an unprecedented 3-peat in the Super Bowl era, and are 8.5-point favorites in the Texans vs Chiefs odds. This game features two of the lowest scoring teams remaining in the postseason, but there are many NFL player props worth considering. See below for my three-leg Texans vs Chiefs same-game parlay.

Mahomes Will Use Brown, Pacheco
The late addition of Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, to the KC lineup after a season-long shoulder injury could make a world of difference to their offense.
Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes worked feverishly to get him reps at the end of the season (before virtually everyone sat out the finale vs Denver).
The result: nine grabs for 91 yards. Consider that regulars Justin Watson, Juju Smith-Schuster, Kareem Hunt and Mecole Hardman all had less than 25 grabs playing at least double-digit games. Brown registered his over two contests.

His presence gives Mahomes a volume guy out wide, letting Travis Kelce wreak havoc inside the hashmarks, and the others to not have to worry so hard about leveling up. Houston has the sixth-best pass defense in the league, but Reid will find a way to get his fresh home-run hitter into the open field.
Isiah Pacheco is another cog in the Chiefs’ offense that will need to produce to keep that Texans’ pass rush honest.
PACHECO PUSHES THROUGH FOR SIX.

Pacheco played in only seven games this year as he recovered from a broken leg, and he’s had just 83 carries on the year for 310 yards, a sub-par 3.7 yards per tote, with just one TD (in Week 1). In four playoff games a year ago, he rushed found paydirt in every game but the Super Bowl.
The Chiefs are a creative bunch in the red zone, but they won’t be messing around with these stakes. Look for Pacheco to get his chances to punch it into the endzone.
Stroud Knows Getting Sacked
Even in one of their best performances of the season, the Houston Texans still couldn’t keep CJ Stroud clean from contact in their 32-12 win over the Chargers.
The second-year pivot was sacked three times, and this isn’t a coincidence: Stroud is second behind rookie Caleb Williams as the QB most sacked this season, taken down a whopping 52 times.
Kansas City happens to employ one of the true agents of chaos on the defensive line in tackle Chris Jones.

With most teams trying to not let him wreck their game plans, Jones was doubled frequently, which led to just five sacks, his lowest output since his rookie season.
Still, Jones was Top 5 in the NFL in QB hits, and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will work to get him into man-to-man battles that he can win. This will be the first time in Stroud’s career he will see Jones on the other side of the offensive line. I’m banking Jones gets a lot closer than that Saturday.
- The SGP (+572): Brown Over 41.5 receiving yards (-113) + Pacheco anytime TD (+165) + Jones to record a sack (-130)

As the Houston Texans prepare to face off against the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round of the playoffs on January 18th, fans and bettors alike are looking for the best same-game parlay picks to maximize their winnings. A same-game parlay allows bettors to combine multiple bets from the same game into one wager, offering the potential for higher payouts.
One key factor to consider when making same-game parlay picks for this matchup is the high-powered offenses of both teams. The Chiefs, led by superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes, have one of the most explosive offenses in the league, while the Texans have dynamic playmakers such as Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins.
With that in mind, here are some top same-game parlay picks for the Texans vs Chiefs playoff game:
1. Patrick Mahomes Over 300 Passing Yards: Mahomes has been lighting up defenses all season long and is capable of putting up big numbers against any opponent. The Texans’ secondary has been vulnerable at times, so look for Mahomes to have a big day through the air.
2. Travis Kelce Anytime Touchdown Scorer: Kelce is one of Mahomes’ favorite targets in the red zone and is a threat to score on any given play. With his size and athleticism, he should have a good chance of finding the end zone in this game.
3. DeAndre Hopkins Over 100 Receiving Yards: Hopkins is one of the best receivers in the league and has a knack for making big plays in crucial moments. Look for Watson to target him early and often, especially if the Texans are playing from behind.
4. Total Points Over 50: With two high-powered offenses going head-to-head, this game has the potential to turn into a shootout. Both teams have the ability to put up points in a hurry, so betting on the total points going over 50 could be a smart play.
5. Texans +7.5: While the Chiefs are favored in this game, the Texans have shown that they can compete with anyone when they are firing on all cylinders. Taking the Texans with the points could be a good value bet, especially if they are able to keep the game close.
Overall, the Texans vs Chiefs playoff game promises to be an exciting and high-scoring affair, making it a prime opportunity for same-game parlay bets. By combining different player props and game outcomes, bettors can increase their chances of hitting it big on this thrilling matchup.
