Steelers vs Ravens Prop #1: Lamar Jackson Rush Attempts

Jackson is one of the game’s most dangerous rushers, but there’s a pair of reasons he’ll likely fall short of his rushing attempts prop.

Baltimore is a heavy 9.5-point favorite in the Steelers vs Ravens odds. That suggests game script will be in their favor, and Lamar and company are more likely to run out the clock out by feeding Henry. With a potential mega-showdown with the Bills looming, they’ll want to preserve Jackson in bubble wrap if they jump out in front.

Even if game script doesn’t go Baltimore’s way, the Steelers have done an excellent at job at limiting Lamar’s rushing production historically.

He’s carried the ball fewer than nine times in three of his past four starts versus them. Lamar averages less rushing attempts and rushing yards against Pittsburgh than any other team he’s faced more than four times.

The Steelers have surrendered the third fewest rushing yards to enemy QBs this season, behind only the Dolphins and Vikings.

  • Pick: Lamar Jackson Under 8.5 Rush Attempts (+100)

Steelers vs Ravens Prop #2: Calvin Austin Receiving Yards

For the first 11 weeks of the season, the Ravens pass defense was abysmal. Over the last seven weeks, the tables have turned, helping them rise in the Super Bowl 59 odds.

Baltimore has gone from 32nd in pass defense to second. They’ve improved from 30th in expected points added (EPA) per drop back to first. They’ve also done a create job at limiting big plays.

The Ravens rank 10th in explosive pass play rate allowed over the last seven weeks, after ranking 32nd in Weeks 1 through 11.

That last stat is particularly concerning for Calvin Austin backers. He’s the ultimate boom or bust receiver. Austin averages over 15 yards per reception, but has been held to two catches or less seven times.

Last time out he saw just one target, and produced only 2 receiving yards versus Baltimore back in November.

  • Pick: Calvin Austin Under 26.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Steelers vs Ravens Touchdown Props

Player First TD Anytime TD
Derrick Henry (BAL) +310 -210
Mark Andrews (BAL) +750 +150
Rashod Bateman (BAL) +750 +155
Lamar Jackson (BAL) +800 +170
Isaiah Likely (BAL) +1200 +260
Najee Harris (PIT) +1300 +200
Nelson Agholor (BAL) +1400 +310
George Pickens (PIT) +1500 +205
Pat Freiermuth (PIT) +1700 +250
Justice Hill (BAL) +1900 +450

Switching to the touchdown props market, Henry is a huge -210 favorite to find the end zone. He did so 16 times this season, but there’s little value at his current price.

Steelers vs Ravens Prop #3: Isaiah Likely Anytime TD

Isaiah Likely on the other hand, is a nice buy to catch a TD. Flowers’ injury opens up plenty of opportunity in the passing game, and Likely should capitalize. He’s a big body in the red zone, with excellent hands.

The lack of Flowers should encourage more two tight end sets from Baltimore, meaning more playing time for Likely. He’s a threat to score from anywhere on the field, with multiple 40+ yard receptions this season.

As the NFL playoffs kick off with Wild Card Weekend, one of the most anticipated matchups is the showdown between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens. Both teams have a long-standing rivalry and are known for their hard-hitting defense and explosive offenses. With so much on the line, fans are eager to see which players will step up and make a difference in this crucial game.

One way to add even more excitement to the game is by placing player prop bets. These bets allow fans to wager on specific outcomes involving individual players, such as how many passing yards a quarterback will throw for or how many touchdowns a running back will score. Here are some top player prop bets to consider for the Steelers vs Ravens Wild Card Weekend matchup:

1. Ben Roethlisberger Passing Yards: The Steelers quarterback has had a solid season, throwing for over 3,800 yards and 33 touchdowns. With a talented group of receivers at his disposal, Roethlisberger could have a big game against the Ravens’ defense. A prop bet on Roethlisberger throwing for over 300 yards is worth considering.

2. Lamar Jackson Rushing Yards: The Ravens quarterback is known for his dual-threat ability, as he can make plays with his legs as well as his arm. Jackson has rushed for over 1,000 yards this season and is always a threat to break off a big run. A prop bet on Jackson rushing for over 50 yards could be a smart choice.

3. JuJu Smith-Schuster Receiving Yards: The Steelers wide receiver has been a reliable target for Roethlisberger all season, racking up over 800 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. Smith-Schuster has the ability to make big plays down the field and could have a big game against the Ravens’ secondary. A prop bet on Smith-Schuster going over 100 receiving yards is worth considering.

4. J.K. Dobbins Total Touchdowns: The Ravens rookie running back has been a key contributor to their offense, scoring nine touchdowns this season. Dobbins has a nose for the end zone and could find success against the Steelers’ defense. A prop bet on Dobbins scoring at least one touchdown in the game is a solid choice.

5. T.J. Watt Sacks: The Steelers linebacker has been a force on defense all season, recording 15 sacks and earning Pro Bowl honors. Watt is known for his relentless pass rush and could cause problems for the Ravens’ offensive line. A prop bet on Watt recording at least one sack in the game is a safe bet.

Overall, player prop bets can add an extra layer of excitement to an already intense playoff matchup between the Steelers and Ravens. By considering these top player prop bets, fans can get even more invested in the game and potentially walk away with some extra cash in their pockets.
