  • We are all done with Week 16 except for the matter of the New Orleans Saints/Green Bay Packers matchup
  • My favorite way to get live on these NFL games is through the use of player prop bets
  • Find two of my favorite Saints vs Packers player props to bet for this MNF matchup on Dec. 23

We’re only got one more shot at greatness in Week 16 and damn it, I think we should take it. I know that there are games in a couple days since it’s Christmas but we need to act like there aren’t. We have to stay hungry on these streets even if we aren’t really that hungry. That’s just how this game we play works. Luckily for us, we’ve got the opportunity of a lifetime in front of us with this New Orleans Saints/Green Bay Packers matchup. We don’t even have to lock in very hard to find bangers. They’re literally everywhere. This could easily be the greatest night of our lives. Maybe even better.

Foster Moreau Has Our Backs

We need a guy we can trust tonight. Someone who will see that we bet our coin on him and then went out there and played like it was the most important game of his life. There really aren’t that many guys that fit this description but one that comes to mind is Foster Moreau.

What’s even better is, he’s almost one of the last guys standing for the New Orleans Saints.

Here’s the thing with this one, we can simply use process of elimination with a little game theory. With the latest injury to Alvin Kamara, almost every single skill position player for the New Orleans Saints is hurt. We’re talking everyone.

But the NFL stops for no one so somebody is going to have to step up for the Saints. The game still goes on and last game it looked like Foster Moreau would be that guy. Quarterback, Spencer Rattler, played the second half and targeted Moreau five times. This could be a thing.

What’s even better is, if we’re targeting one of the last Saints standing, it might as well be a tight end. On the season, only nine teams in the entire NFL have allowed more receptions to the tight end position than the Green Bay Packers. Keep in mind, they’ve played one less game than everyone else. Like it or not, this is the greatest bet of all time.

Josh Jacobs Will Run Wild Tonight

I’m not a big running back rushing yards guy. I say, if you’re going to move the ball, throw it like a man. Don’t run like a caveman. We’ve evolved as a species. Let’s act like it.

The thing is, we have an absolute beast of a running back saying he feels great and wants all the work he can get.

The haters are going to say that Josh Jacobs has burned them before so they can’t ride with him again. I already had a Twitter friend tell me that Jacobs took the fourth quarter off one game and cost him millions. It happens. This game isn’t for the weak. And after Jacobs started calling for the Packers to feed him, I think we’re safe with playing time issues.

What’s best about this thing is the Packers are 14-point favorites tonight. They are supposed to beat the crap out of the Mash unit Saints. When that happens, teams tend to keep the ball on the ground. Think about it, why would the Packers take to the air in a frigid game while they’re up by 30? It just makes sense to run the ball and get the hell out of there.

I didn’t even get to the best part yet which is the best part. The Saints have the second-worst defense in the NFL in terms of opponent yards per rushing attempt. These guys can’t stop anyone. My guess is, the reason the Packers will get up 30+ points is because Josh Jacobs ran all over the place. If it wasn’t for the Foster Moreau bet, this one would be the greatest I’ve ever seen. Feels right.

As Monday Night Football approaches in Week 16, all eyes will be on the highly anticipated matchup between the New Orleans Saints and the Green Bay Packers. While the game itself is sure to be a thrilling battle between two powerhouse teams, there is also plenty of excitement surrounding the player prop bets that fans can place on this game.

When it comes to player prop bets for Monday Night Football, there are a few key players that stand out as potential game-changers. Let’s take a look at some of the best player prop bets to consider for the Saints vs Packers game.

1. Alvin Kamara – Over/Under Rushing Yards
One of the most dynamic players in the NFL, Alvin Kamara has been a force to be reckoned with this season. As the Saints’ primary running back, Kamara has the ability to break off big runs and make defenders miss in the open field. For this game, consider placing a bet on Kamara’s rushing yards total. The over/under line will likely be set around 80-90 yards, so keep an eye on his performance throughout the game.

2. Aaron Rodgers – Total Passing Yards
On the other side of the ball, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be looking to lead his team to victory against a tough Saints defense. Rodgers has been playing at an MVP level this season and is capable of putting up big numbers through the air. Look for his passing yards total to be set around 250-300 yards, and consider betting on whether he will exceed or fall short of that mark.

3. Davante Adams – Anytime Touchdown Scorer
As one of the top wide receivers in the league, Davante Adams is always a threat to find the end zone. Adams has great chemistry with Rodgers and is a red-zone target for the Packers offense. Consider placing a bet on Adams to score a touchdown at any point during the game, as he is likely to be a key factor in Green Bay’s offensive game plan.

4. Michael Thomas – Receiving Yards
For the Saints, wide receiver Michael Thomas is a key playmaker in their passing attack. Thomas has the ability to make tough catches in traffic and pick up yards after the catch. Keep an eye on his receiving yards total for this game, as he could be in line for a big performance against the Packers’ secondary.

Overall, player prop bets can add an extra layer of excitement to Monday Night Football games. Whether you’re rooting for the Saints or the Packers, consider placing a bet on one of these key players to make your viewing experience even more thrilling. Good luck and enjoy the game!
