- Still in the hunt for the #1 seed in the NFC, the Minnesota Vikings host the Chicago Bears on MNF in Week 15
- Chicago has lost seven straight games and is getting torched through the air on a weekly basis
- Below, see a four-leg, +219 Bears vs Vikings same-game parlay for Dec. 16
With the Lions falling to 12-2 after their loss to Buffalo yesterday, the Minnesota Vikings (11-2, 6-1 home, ATS) are still very much in the hunt for the #1 seed and the only bye in the NFC. On Monday Night Football, the Vikings will host the reeling Chicago Bears (4-9, 0-6, ATS), who have lost seven games in a row overall and have yet to record a victory away from home all season. Not surprisingly, the Vikings are touchdown favorites, and my Bears vs Vikings same-game parlay starts with a straight-up Minnesota victory.

Bears vs Vikings SGP Pick #1: Vikings Moneyline
After a string of three straight devastatingly close losses to division rivals (20-19 vs Green Bay, 30-27 vs Minnesota, 23-20 at Detroit), the Bears were uncompetitive in last week’s 38-13 shellacking at the hands of the injury-riddled 49ers.
That marked Chicago’s sixth straight setback on the road this season while the Vikings are a near-perfect 6-1 at home, with the only loss coming to the conference-leading Detroit Lions (31-29) back in Week 7.
I won’t drone on anymore about why tonight’s Chicago/Minnesota SGP starts with all the prevailing win/loss trends prevailing. My colleague also likes the Vikes to start strong and finish strong in his Bears vs Vikings prediction.
Chicago vs Minnesota Same-Game Parlay Pick #2: Darnold 250+ Passing Yards
If you had to pick one culprit on which to pin the blame for Chicago’s losing streak, it’s the pass defense, especially recently. Last week, Brock Purdy racked up 325 yards against the Bears; two weeks earlier, Sam Darnold himself had 330 in the aforementioned 30-27 Minnesota victory in Chicago; and the week before that, Jordan Love piled up 260 yards in Green Bay’s 20-19 road win.
Darnold is having by far the best season of his seven-year career and is further proof that, when put in the right situation with a good offensive line and top-flight receivers, average quarterbacks can look extremely good. (Anyone remember when Andy Dalton was the NFL MVP favorite in 2015 before getting injured?)
Darnold is averaging 253.8 YPG this season and I love his chances of going over 249.5 against a Bears secondary that might have quit on the season.
Bears vs Vikings SGP Picks #3 and 4: Jefferson 70+ Receiving Yards & Addison 25+ Receiving Yards
The last two legs of this parlay mesh the the second. I’m taking Darnold’s top target and the NFL’s second-leading receiver Justin Jefferson (1,170 yards) to record at least 70 yards, plus WR2 Jordan Addison (708 yards) to hit the very modest number of 25 at short odds.
Jefferson had a quiet afternoon the last time these team’s tangled a few weeks ago, recording just two catches and 27 yards on five targets. But that was just the second time in the last 12 games that the All-Pro didn’t hit at least 80 yards.
Addison, meanwhile, has hit 25 yards in all but one game this season. He also went off in the first meeting against Chicago, racking up 162 yards and a TD on eight catches, including an electric 69-yard reception.
I don’t expect him to take over the game again while Jefferson sits on the proverbial sidelines, but he could sleepwalk his way to 25 yards against this Chicago defense.

As the NFL season heads into Week 15, all eyes are on the Monday Night Football matchup between the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings. Both teams are fighting for a playoff spot in the competitive NFC North division, making this game a crucial one for both sides. For fans looking to add some excitement to the game, same-game parlays are a popular betting option that allows you to combine multiple bets into one, potentially increasing your payout.
When it comes to same-game parlay picks for the Bears vs Vikings matchup, there are several key factors to consider. Both teams have strong defenses and capable offenses, so finding the right combination of bets is essential. Here are some top same-game parlay picks to consider for this Monday Night Football showdown:
1. Total Points Over/Under: The over/under for this game is currently set at 44 points. Both teams have shown the ability to put up points this season, so taking the over could be a solid bet. Look for a high-scoring game with both offenses finding success against tough defenses.
2. Bears Moneyline: The Bears are currently slight underdogs in this matchup, but they have a strong defense that could give the Vikings trouble. Taking the Bears on the moneyline could be a smart play, especially if their defense can create turnovers and give their offense good field position.
3. Dalvin Cook Anytime Touchdown Scorer: Vikings running back Dalvin Cook is one of the most dynamic playmakers in the NFL and is always a threat to score a touchdown. Taking Cook as an anytime touchdown scorer could be a safe bet, as he has found the end zone multiple times this season.
4. Allen Robinson Receiving Yards Over/Under: Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson is a reliable target for quarterback Mitchell Trubisky and has the ability to make big plays down the field. Taking the over on Robinson’s receiving yards could pay off if he has a big game against the Vikings secondary.
5. Total Sacks Over/Under: Both teams have strong pass rushes that could cause problems for the opposing quarterbacks. Taking the over on total sacks in this game could be a smart bet, especially if both teams are able to generate pressure and force turnovers.
Overall, same-game parlays can add an extra layer of excitement to Monday Night Football and give fans a chance to cash in on their football knowledge. By carefully selecting your bets and considering key factors like player matchups and team strengths, you can increase your chances of hitting it big with a same-game parlay for the Bears vs Vikings matchup in Week 15. Good luck and happy betting!
