Looking at the UFC Macau betting lines, hard-hitting Carlos Ulberg (-230) is expected to handle Volkan Oezdemir (+190) in their light heavyweight scrap. China’s own Wang Cong (-900) is a huge favorite to beat Gabriella Fernandes (+600) in what should be a quick night.
The co-main has former title challenger Yan Xiaonan (-185) trying to bounce back against grappling ace Tabatha Ricci (+154). Most think this one goes all three rounds.
For our main event, former bantamweight king Petr Yan (-305) is the clear favorite over ex-flyweight champ Deiveson Figueiredo (+245). The bookies are betting on this going the full 25 minutes.

Petr Yan vs Deiveson Figueiredo Prediction
In our headliner, ex-bantamweight champ Petr Yan (-305) looks to build on his momentum. He’s up against a dangerous customer in former flyweight boss Deiveson Figueiredo (+245), who’s been on fire at 135.
Yan got back in the win column with a masterclass against Song Yadong in March. He reminded everyone why he used to wear the belt, showing off those crisp hands and solid takedown defense.
Since moving up to bantamweight, Figueiredo’s been a problem. The Brazilian powerhouse has taken out Marlon Vera, Cody Garbrandt and Rob Font back-to-back-to-back. At 36, “Figgy” still packs that one-punch power and slick submission game that made him champ.
We’ve got two former champs hungry to get back to the top. Yan’s got better hands and height, but Figueiredo brings that scary power and a bit more reach.
Yan vs Figueiredo Tale of the Tape
Yan
VS
Figueiredo
31 | Age | 36 |
17-5-0 | Record | 24-3-1 |
5′ 7″ | Height | 5′ 5″ |
67″ | Reach | 68″ |
Switch | Stance | Orthodox |
5.14 | Significant Strikes per Minute | 3.01 |
59.01% | Significant Strike Accuracy | 59.78% |
1.73 | Takedown Average | 1.68 |
51.02% | Takedown Accuracy | 35.94% |
0.14 | Submission Average | 1.60 |
Neither guy has finished anyone since 2020, which is why the odds are -150 for this to go the distance. Plus, no one’s been able to finish Yan since 2016, and Figueiredo’s last three fights at bantamweight have gone to the judges.
Expect a back-and-forth battle for all five rounds. At the end of it all, Yan’s sharp striking, smart wrestling and better gas tank should get him the win.
- Prediction: Yan by unanimous decision
Yan Xiaonan vs Tabatha Ricci Prediction
The co-main sees China’s Yan Xiaonan (-185) looking to rebound after a tough title fight loss against rising Brazilian Tabatha Ricci (+154) in a key strawweight bout.
Xiaonan’s title shot didn’t go her way, with Zhang Weili overwhelming her last time out. Before that stumble, she’d picked up big wins over Mackenzie Dern and Jessica Andrade to prove she belongs at the top.
Standing in her way is the crafty Ricci. The 28-year-old “Baby Shark” has quietly put together a solid 5-1 UFC record, using her black belt BJJ to give everyone fits. She’s giving up some size to Xiaonan, but Ricci’s wrestling and submission skills make her a live dog.
Both fighters can take a shot, and with Xiaonan coming off that rough loss, this has war written all over it. Ricci’s ground game could be the difference-maker against Xiaonan’s striking, making that +154 pretty tempting. For a safer play, look at Ricci winning on the cards at +333.
- Prediction: Ricci by split decision (+550)
Other Notable UFC Macau Fights
Keep an eye on Chinese knockout artist Zhang Mingyang (-310) taking on Contender Series grad Ozzy Diaz (+250). This should be fireworks at light heavyweight. Mingyang has been crushing it lately, finishing his last 10 opponents in round one, including a quick 62-second KO of Brendson Ribeiro in his UFC debut.
You’ve also got 22-year-old prospect Feng Xiaocan (-300) facing off with veteran Shi Ming (+240) in the Road to UFC flyweight final. Feng’s size advantage should be too much for Ming to handle.

Lastly, we’ve got two undefeated fighters as England’s Lone’er Kavanagh (-360) welcomes Peru’s Jose Ochoa (+285) to the UFC. Kavanagh looked legit with a first-round finish on the Contender Series, while Ochoa brings a clean 7-0 record. When perfect records clash, go with the guy who’s faced better competition.
From top to bottom, this 11-fight card is packed with fresh matchups and rising talent. Whether you’re a hardcore fan or looking to make some money, there’s plenty to like here.

The UFC Macau fight card is set to feature an exciting matchup between Petr Yan and Deiveson Figueiredo. Both fighters are coming off impressive victories and are looking to solidify their place in their respective divisions. With the fight just around the corner, let’s take a closer look at the odds, picks, and predictions for this highly anticipated bout.
Petr Yan, also known as “No Mercy,” is currently ranked as the number one bantamweight in the world. The Russian fighter has a record of 15 wins and 1 loss, with his only defeat coming at the hands of Aljamain Sterling in a controversial disqualification. Yan is known for his aggressive fighting style and impressive striking ability, making him a formidable opponent for anyone in the division.
On the other hand, Deiveson Figueiredo, also known as “Deus da Guerra,” is the reigning flyweight champion and is coming off a dominant victory over Brandon Moreno in their last fight. The Brazilian fighter has a record of 21 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw, with 18 of his wins coming by way of knockout or submission. Figueiredo is known for his explosive power and slick ground game, making him a dangerous threat to anyone in the division.
As for the odds for this matchup, Petr Yan is currently listed as the favorite with odds of -150, while Deiveson Figueiredo is the underdog with odds of +130. This means that a $150 bet on Yan would net you $100 in profit, while a $100 bet on Figueiredo would net you $130 in profit.
In terms of picks and predictions for this fight, it’s shaping up to be a close and competitive matchup. Both fighters possess unique skill sets that could give them the edge in different areas of the fight. Yan’s striking and pressure could pose problems for Figueiredo, while Figueiredo’s power and grappling could trouble Yan.
Ultimately, I believe that Petr Yan will come out on top in this fight. His relentless pressure and technical striking will be too much for Figueiredo to handle, leading to a victory for the Russian fighter. However, Figueiredo is a dangerous opponent and should not be underestimated, so anything can happen in the Octagon.
Overall, the UFC Macau fight card is shaping up to be an exciting event, with Petr Yan vs Deiveson Figueiredo being one of the most anticipated matchups of the night. Make sure to tune in to see who comes out on top in this high-stakes battle between two of the best fighters in their respective divisions.
