Another massive college football Saturday is on deck for Week 10, and I’ve identified three underdog plays that offer notable betting value. I’m back sharing my top college football against the spread picks for Saturday, November 2nd.

For Week 10, I’m targeting an SEC home dog that thrives against ranked opponents, while also backing two road underdogs in challenging environments. The numbers and matchups suggest all three teams should keep things close.

Let’s dive into my Week 10 college football picks against the spread, with detailed analysis and key trends for each selection.

Week 10 CFB ATS Picks

Matchup Pick (Odds)
South Carolina vs Texas A&M South Carolina +2.5 (-110)
UCLA vs Nebraska UCLA +6.5 (-110)
Louisville vs Clemson Louisville +10.5 (-110)

My Week 10 college football picks against the spread feature three power 4 conference matchups. I’ve identified key betting value in each game and provided a breakdown of each pick.

South Carolina vs Texas A&M Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Texas A&M -2.5 (-110) -140 Over 44.5 (-110)
South Carolina +2.5 (-110) +120 Under 44.5 (-110)

Pick #1: South Carolina +2.5 (vs Texas A&M)

My first addition to my Week 10 college football picks against the spread backs the home underdog Gamecocks. The current Week 10 CFB betting odds show Shane Beamer’s team as +2.5 dogs  against the 6-1 Aggies.

The Gamecocks are being severely undervalued here as short home underdogs against Texas A&M. South Carolina has been absolute money against the spread when hosting top-10 teams, boasting an outstanding 12-5-1 ATS mark in such spots. Even more impressive? Seven of those covers resulted in outright wins.

Don’t let South Carolina’s 4-3 record fool you – this team can hang with anyone. They’ve lost by just five combined points to Alabama and LSU, showing they have the talent to compete with the SEC’s elite.

Meanwhile, A&M is coming off an emotional comeback win over LSU that required a QB change – not ideal heading into a hostile Williams-Brice Stadium. Given the QB uncertainty, SC’s feisty defense should make the difference.

The low total of 44.5 points suggests a tight, defensive battle that should favor the home underdog. With the Aggies still unsettled at quarterback and facing a rowdy primetime environment, the Gamecocks are primed to add another cover to their impressive home record against ranked opponents.

  • Pick: South Carolina +2.5 (-110)

UCLA vs Nebraska Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
UCLA +6.5 (-110) +210 Over 41 (-110)
Nebraska -6.5 (-110) -250 Under 41 (-110)

Pick #2: UCLA +6.5 (vs Nebraska)

My second Week 10 college football pick against the spread backs the UCLA Bruins to keep things close against the Cornhuskers. The Bruins are currently a 6.5-point underdog against Matt Rhule’s squad.

Don’t sleep on UCLA as nearly touchdown underdogs in Lincoln. Ethan Garbers has been lights out on the road, averaging 312 passing yards with seven TDs in away games. That aerial attack should find success against a Nebraska defense allowing 21 points per game.

The microscopic total of 41 points is a major factor in backing UCLA. With scoring expected to be at a premium, the Bruins’ defense led by Carson Schwesinger (double-digit tackles in five straight) should keep this within the number.

UCLA’s offense is peaking at the right time after setting season highs in passing TDs (35) and total yards (478) against Rutgers.

History is also on our side – the Bruins stunned Nebraska 41-21 in their last trip to Lincoln, rallying from 18 down. While the Cornhuskers hold a slim 7-6 edge all-time, UCLA has proven they can win in this building. According to my predictive model, the Bruins have a 64% chance of covering this spread.

  • Pick: UCLA +6.5 (-110)

Louisville vs Clemson Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Louisville +10.5 (-110) +320 Over 45.5 (-110)
Clemson -10.5 (-110) -400 Under 45.5 (-110)

Pick #3: Louisville +10.5 (vs Clemson)

I’m wrapping up my Week 10 college football picks against the spread by backing Louisville to stay within the number against Clemson. You can currently get the Cardinals at +10.5 at CFB betting apps such as ESPN Bet.

I’m riding with Jeff Brohm and Louisville as double-digit dogs at Death Valley. The Cardinals have been battle-tested all season, with their last five games decided by seven points or fewer. They’re catching Clemson in a potential look-ahead spot with Virginia Tech and Pitt on deck.

Brohm has been money in these spots, going 18-9 ATS as underdogs of six-plus points, including 12 outright wins. The extra day of prep after playing Friday night is huge. And while Clemson comes off a bye – historically tough timing for Tigers opponents —  they’ve failed to cover their last two against Louisville.

The Cardinals showed their resilience in last week’s 34-27 comeback win at Boston College. While Clemson’s home-field advantage is significant, Louisville’s ability to keep games close makes the 10.5 points extremely valuable. Don’t be shocked if this one comes down to the wire in Death Valley.

  • Pick: Louisville +10.5 (-110)

Brady’s 2024 CFB ATS Picks Record: 19-11

Week 10 of the college football season is upon us, and as teams continue to jockey for position in the playoff race, there are several intriguing matchups on tap. With point spreads being a popular way for fans to gauge the relative strength of teams, let’s take a look at some predictions for this week’s games.

One of the marquee matchups of the week features the #1 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide taking on the #3 ranked LSU Tigers. Alabama comes into the game as a 6-point favorite, and with their high-powered offense led by Heisman candidate Tua Tagovailoa, they are expected to come out on top in this SEC showdown. LSU will need a strong defensive effort to keep pace with the Crimson Tide, but it may not be enough to overcome Alabama’s offensive firepower.

Another intriguing matchup this week is the #5 ranked Oklahoma Sooners facing off against the #12 ranked Baylor Bears. Oklahoma is favored by 10 points in this Big 12 clash, and with Heisman hopeful Jalen Hurts leading the way, they are expected to come away with a victory. However, Baylor has been a surprise team this season, and their stout defense could give the Sooners some trouble.

In the Pac-12, the #7 ranked Oregon Ducks will take on the #4 ranked Utah Utes in a battle of conference heavyweights. Oregon is a 3-point underdog in this matchup, but with their high-flying offense led by quarterback Justin Herbert, they have a chance to pull off the upset. Utah’s defense will need to be at its best to contain Herbert and the Ducks’ potent attack.

Lastly, in a Big Ten showdown, the #2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes will face off against the #8 ranked Wisconsin Badgers. Ohio State is favored by 14 points in this game, and with their dominant defense and explosive offense, they are expected to come away with a comfortable victory. Wisconsin will need to control the clock with their running game to have a chance at pulling off the upset.

As always, college football is full of surprises, and anything can happen on any given Saturday. But based on the point spreads and the strengths of each team, these are our predictions for Week 10’s biggest games. Stay tuned for what promises to be an exciting weekend of college football action.
