There’s no question that the Bucs are in worse shape on the injury front. On offense, starting right tackle Luke Goedke is out along with rookie slot receiver Jalen McMillan.
Two starters are also missing from the Tampa defense: DT Calijah Kancey and free safety Antoine Winfield Jr.
On the Atlanta sideline, starting running back Bijan Robinson was limited in practice early in the week due to a hamstring issue, but he got in a full practice on Wednesday and doesn’t carry an injury designation heading into TNF.

The only starter missing for the Falcons will be inside linebacker Troy Anderson, who’s out with a knee injury. That is a significant loss, though. Anderson leads Atlanta with 44 tackles on the season, 11 more than any other player on the team.
Anderson will be replaced by some combination of rookie fifth-round pick JD Bertrand out of Notre Dame, and veteran James Smith-Williams, who spent his first four seasons with Washington before Atlanta signed him this offseason.

This information can be useful for bettors looking to gauge public sentiment and potentially identify value in the betting lines. In the case of the Buccaneers vs Falcons game, early public-betting splits show that the majority of bets are currently being placed on the Buccaneers. As for the Falcons, wide receiver Julio Jones is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. Jones is a key playmaker for Atlanta and his availability could greatly impact the team’s offensive production. Additionally, defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. is dealing with a hamstring injury of his own, which could weaken the Falcons’ pass rush.
Overall, public-betting splits and injury reports are important factors for bettors to consider when analyzing the Buccaneers vs Falcons Thursday Night Football matchup. By staying informed on these key aspects, fans can make more educated predictions and potentially increase their chances of success when placing bets on the game.
