Same-Game Parlay Picks for TNF Week 4 Matchup between Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants

  • NFC East rivals face off tonight on Thursday Night Football as the Dallas Cowboys visit the New York Giants
  • Thursday’s Cowboys vs Giants same-game parlay is highlighted by a second-half O/U prop
  • Below, see all three legs of a +795 Cowboys vs Giants SGP for TNF

Thursday Night Football gets one of the biggest NFC East rivalries this week when the Dallas Cowboys head to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Giants. Kickoff tonight is set for 8:15 pm ET.

But is “rivalry” the right word? Because Dallas has won six in a row and thirteen of the last fourteen against New York, and Thursday’s Cowboys vs Giants odds favor Dallas by nearly a touchdown. That’s about as lopsided as it gets in the NFL.

I’m not looking at any straight-up picks for tonight’s DAL vs NYG same-game parlay; there’s money to be won elsewhere! Instead, my three-leg Cowboys vs Giants SGP is built around the notion that New York might put some fear into the Cowboys, but not enough to put too many points on the board, as Dallas will dominate in the air.

Cowboys vs Giants Same-Game Parlay Picks

Pick Odds
NYG 2nd Half Total Points Under 9.5 +100
Dak Prescott Over 256.5 Pass Yards -110
Devin Singletary Anytime TD +110
TOTAL DAL vs NYG SGP ODDS +795

Going into last Thursday, I conceded that last week’s Patriots vs Jets SGP totaling +1774 was maybe too aggressive. Boy, was I right: only one leg landed (Aaron Rodgers Over 225.5 Alt Pass Yards), though we came close on another (Breece Hall Over 4.5 Receptions).

Nevertheless, I’ve learned my lesson and am going far more conservative this week, as today’s NFL same-game parlay adds up to a calm +795, where a $100 wager would net a $795 profit, but only if all three legs hit.

Cowboys vs Giants SGP Pick #1: NYG 2nd Half Total Points Under 9.5

Without question, this is a “Prove Me Wrong” pick: I’ll keep betting it until the Giants do something about it.

In three games this season, the Giants have scored 3, 6, and 0 points in the second halves of games against the Vikings, Commanders, and Browns. Yes, they held on for the win against Cleveland, but averaging just a field goal in the final two quarters of each of your first three games to start the season is not a good look.

To their credit, the Giants have gone over 10 points in the second half in three of their last six games against Dallas, but have done so just once at home.

What’s worth noting is how the Cowboys’ defense this season has allowed points on 41.2% of offensive drives they’ve faced, which is just a little worse than the league average. Compare that to the Giants’ offense scoring on only 25.8% of their drives, good for fourth-worst in the league.

If the Giants do put up points against Dallas, it’ll likely be in one half or the other, but not both. I’m calling for New York to go dry in the second half.

Cowboys vs Giants Same-Game Parlay Picks #2: Dak Prescott Over 256.5 Pass Yards

Yes, I’m I’m feeling emboldened by the 359 yards Dak Prescott put up against the Ravens last week. No, I haven’t been drinking the Cowboys Kool-Aid.

It felt like last week’s passing explosion from Prescott was bound to happen sooner or later. That it happened against an underperforming Ravens secondary and, ironically, largely without utilizing CeeDee Lamb may just be coincidence.

Dating back to last season, Prescott has thrown for 250+ yards in eight of his last 10, and that includes the 331 yards he put up in a short week against the Commanders.

One argument against this prop is Prescott’s last visit to MetLife, when he threw for only 143 yards in Week 1 of 2023. The caveat, however, is that the Cowboys coasted to a 40-0 win, building an early lead after returning an interception and blocked field goal for touchdowns. By half time, the offense had only been on the field for nine minutes!

Even counting last season’s Week 1 blowout, Prescott has thrown for 250+ yards in three of his last five games at MetLife and six of his last ten against the Giants.

Knowing that three of the Giants’ defensive backs are nursing injuries, I’m confident Prescott can make it to 257 yards on Thursday night.

Not coincidentally, Prescott over 1.5 TD passes is one of Chris Amberley’s top picks in the Cowboys vs Giants player props.

Cowboys vs Giants SGP Pick #3: Devin Singletary Anytime TD

Originally, I was going to hammer “Devin Singletary Over 59.5 Rush Yards” solely off how horrendous the Cowboys have been against the run this season. Being last in the league after three games is not something you can ignore.

But it turns out that everyone and their mother are taking the over on Singletary for TNF. The result? The line just kept moving, so instead we found value in his Anytime TD prop at +110.

With all due respect to Singletary, he’s not quite the same back as Alvin Kamara or Derrick Henry, so I don’t think he’ll burn Dallas quite as badly as those two.

Nevertheless, after opening the season with a quiet Week 1 against Minnesota, he posted 95 and 65-yard performances on Washington and Cleveland, scoring an early touchdown in each game.

Currently sitting 17th and 13th respectively against the run, the Commanders and Browns are as “league average” as it gets. And how is the Cowboys’ rush defense, again? That’s right, worst in the league.

The Giants will likely try to establish their run game early, just like the last two weeks. If that’s the case, expect Singletary to feature in the red zone and get another “1st & Goal” to jam home a touchdown.

As the NFL season enters Week 4, fans are gearing up for an exciting Thursday Night Football matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants. With both teams looking to secure a crucial win, bettors are also getting in on the action by exploring same-game parlay picks for this highly anticipated game.

For those unfamiliar with same-game parlays, they allow bettors to combine multiple bets from a single game into one wager, offering the potential for higher payouts. This type of bet can be particularly appealing for those looking to add some excitement to their viewing experience while also potentially cashing in on their sports knowledge.

When it comes to the Cowboys vs. Giants matchup, there are several key factors to consider when making same-game parlay picks. Both teams have shown flashes of brilliance on offense, with Dallas boasting a high-powered passing attack led by quarterback Dak Prescott and star wide receiver Amari Cooper, while New York relies on the dynamic playmaking abilities of running back Saquon Barkley and quarterback Daniel Jones.

In terms of defense, the Cowboys have struggled to stop opposing offenses, giving up an average of 36 points per game through the first three weeks of the season. On the other hand, the Giants have shown improvement on defense, particularly in their ability to generate pressure on the quarterback.

When crafting your same-game parlay picks for this matchup, it’s important to consider factors such as the over/under total points, player props, and the point spread. For example, you may want to consider betting on the over if you expect a high-scoring game between these two teams, or you could target player props for key players like Prescott or Barkley to have a big game.

Ultimately, same-game parlays offer bettors a unique opportunity to capitalize on their sports knowledge and potentially walk away with a significant payout. As you prepare to watch the Cowboys take on the Giants in Week 4, consider exploring different parlay options to add an extra layer of excitement to the game. Good luck and happy betting!
