  • Week 2 is all but over but first we have the matter of the Atlanta Falcons versus the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football
  • My favorite way to get down on the NFL is by betting players props and there are a few worth considering Monday night
  • See below to find two of my favorite Falcons vs Eagles player props to bet for this MNF matchup

We’ve got one more game on the Week 2 slate so obviously we need to lock in. We’re going to be without the NFL for two whole days after this. We literally can’t afford to skip this game. I wouldn’t advise my worst enemy to not get down on a Monday Night Football game. Skipping it simply shouldn’t be done.

This matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles feels like a good one. Maybe even great. If you like offense that is. I know we’re missing AJ Brown, but when we go through both rosters, it doesn’t even matter. We’ve got playmakers falling out of our pockets. It’s actually good that AJ Brown is out. Keep reading for today’s Falcons vs Eagles player-prop picks.

Falcons vs Eagles Player Prop Picks

Player Receptions Receiving Yards Pick
Dallas Goedert (Eagles) 4.5 (Ov +102 / Un -139) 42.5 (Ov -115 / Un -119) 50+ Receiving Yards (+130)
Player Receptions Receiving Yards Pick
Kyle Pitts (Falcons) 3.5 (Ov -130 / Un +100) 40.5 (Ov -120 / Un -110) Over 45.5 Receiving Yards (+125)

The NFL player props I’m targeting today focus on the two starting tight ends, and I’m betting both to go over their alternate receiving yards at plus-money.

Tonight’s game gets underway at 8:15 pm ET and the Falcons vs Eagles odds favor Philly by six points.

Dallas Goedert Is a Man of the People

When we wager our cash, we need to bet on guys we can trust. One might think we can trust everyone, but if we’re being honest, not everyone has our best betting interests in mind when they take the field. Sounds shocking, but it’s true.

Lucky for us, tonight we can bet on a true man of the people in Dallas Goedert.

Dallas respects coin which is obvious since he knew the line last week. Not only did he know the line, but he was sad when he didn’t quite get over it. It’s not hard to imagine that this guy will come locked and loaded tonight. On top of being ready himself, there should be extra targets available since AJ Brown is out.

Now the haters are going to say AJ Brown being out is already baked into the line which is true. But here’s the thing, the game script that I think will play out doesn’t appear to be baked in. The Falcons are 5.5-point dogs tonight but what if they put up a fight? Atlanta could easily hang a few points on this Philly defense.

When that happens, Dallas Goedert will go for 50+ receiving yards. Feels right.

Kyle Pitts Coming Out Party Is Tonight

They say home is where the heart is and I think that’s true. I’ve seen it on bumper stickers, signs that you get at Home Goods, and it might even be in the Bible. It’s tough to argue with that kind of reach.

Whether you believe the saying or not, you can’t help but feel good about Kyle Pitts going home to play in front of friends and family tonight.

Does it really matter that Kyle is in Philly tonight? Probably not, but it’s fun to talk about. The other thing that’s fun to talk about is the fact that the Falcons may actually use this guy this season. It’s a mystery why he hasn’t been unlocked before, but he’s still young so we have time.

Now the haters are going to say that Kyle didn’t do much against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week but as usual, the haters don’t understand what they’re watching. The Falcons only had the ball for 24 minutes. That Steelers defense is good. Plus Kirk Cousins was probably nervous in his team debut. Look for the Falcons to get right against an Eagles defense that likely still has track marks from getting run over by the Packers last week.

Kyle gets loose tonight people. Feels right.

Monday Night Football is back for Week 2 with an exciting matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and the Philadelphia Eagles. While the game itself is sure to be a thrilling one, many fans also enjoy getting in on the action by placing player prop bets. These bets allow fans to wager on specific outcomes involving individual players, adding an extra layer of excitement to the game.

For those looking to place player prop bets on Monday night’s game, here are some of the best options to consider:

1. Matt Ryan Over/Under Passing Yards: One of the most popular player prop bets is the over/under on passing yards for Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan. Ryan is known for his strong arm and ability to rack up passing yards, making this a bet worth considering. The Eagles defense is solid, but Ryan has the weapons to put up big numbers. Look for Ryan to surpass his projected passing yards total in this game.

2. Julio Jones Anytime Touchdown: Another enticing player prop bet is Julio Jones scoring a touchdown at any point during the game. Jones is one of the top wide receivers in the league and is always a threat to find the end zone. With his size, speed, and hands, Jones is a favorite target for Ryan in the red zone. Betting on Jones to score a touchdown is a smart play in this matchup.

3. Zach Ertz Receiving Yards: On the Eagles side, tight end Zach Ertz is a player to watch when it comes to player prop bets. Ertz is a reliable target for quarterback Carson Wentz and has the ability to pick up big gains through the air. Look for Ertz to surpass his projected receiving yards total in this game as he looks to exploit the Falcons’ defense.

4. Total Sacks Over/Under: For those looking for a more defensive-minded player prop bet, consider wagering on the total number of sacks in the game. Both the Falcons and Eagles have strong pass rushes that can get after the quarterback. Look for this game to feature plenty of pressure on both sides, making the over on total sacks a solid bet.

5. Total Interceptions: Finally, consider betting on the total number of interceptions in the game. Both Ryan and Wentz have been known to make mistakes under pressure, leading to turnovers. With two opportunistic defenses facing off, there could be several interceptions in this game. Take the over on total interceptions for a chance to cash in on this player prop bet.

As you prepare to watch Monday Night Football in Week 2, consider placing some player prop bets to add even more excitement to the game. Whether you’re betting on passing yards, touchdowns, or turnovers, there are plenty of options to choose from for this matchup between the Falcons and Eagles. Good luck with your bets!
