Prop Picks #1: Shedeur Sanders Passing Yards

In 12 games so far at Colorado, Shedeur Sanders has averaged exactly 306.25 passing yards per game. So, it’s no surprise to see sportsbooks price his College Football Week 2 player prop line at that exact number.

The mercurial Sanders tossed for 445 yards against North Dakota State in Week 1, while brandishing many of the traits that will make him an early 2025 NFL Draft pick. The Buffs rebuilt offensive line was great in pass protection, giving Sanders the freedom to make plays both on and off-script.

Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur ran 40 passing plays to just 17 runs against NDSU. While he may opt for a more balanced approach to begin against Nebraska, if Colorado falls behind, they’ll be throwing the football a ton. He threw the football nearly 40 times per game last season, and will likely get around the same number of attempts in Lincoln.  Bet on Sanders to easily surpass his 306.5 passing yardage prop on Saturday.

  • Pick: Shedeur Sanders OVER 306.5 Passing Yards (-114)

Props Picks #2: Donovan Edwards Receiving Yards

The Texas defense will be dead set on shutting down Michigan’s rushing attack on Saturday. That means loading up the box with seven, eight, and even nine defenders at times to stop Donovan Edwards from taking over the game.

He was targeted twice in the passing game against Fresno State, in a game where the Wolverines didn’t need his production to win. With Michigan as an underdog on Saturday, they’ll likely trail at some point in the football game, opening up a plethora of opportunities for Edwards to thrive. He surpassed this receiving yardage line in eight games last season and is a great bet to do so again in Week 2. Donovan Edwards over 15.5 receiving yards is one of my favorite college football Week 2 player props bets.

  • Pick: Donovan Edwards OVER 15.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
