NHL player props from DraftKings on June 10.

Despite getting shutout in Game 1, the player props for Game 2  still list postseason scoring leader Connor McDavid at -115 to record a multipoint game. McDavid has 31 points in 19 playoff games to date, including 13 points in his last nine, five of which were multipoint games.

Aleksander Barkov (-195) and Sam Reinhart (-190) have the shortest odds to record a point among Florida players. Barkov is tied for the team lead in playoff scoring (alongside Matthew Tkachuk) at 19. Reinhart led the Panthers in the regular season in goals (57) and points (94), both of which were career-highs.

Edmonton Oilers vs Florida Panthers Game 2 Predictions

The Oilers dominated the shots (32-18) and shot attempts (53-33) in Game 1. Edmonton somehow ended up on the losing end despite a 5.61 to 1.88 edge in Expected Goals For (xGA), according to moneypuck.com. That “somehow” of course can be named as Florida goalie Sergei Bobrovsky, who lowered his playoff GAA to 2.37 and upped his save percentage to .915 with the Game 1 shutout.

Bobrovsky also had a solid .915 SV% last year during Florida’s run to the 2023 finals, which the injury-riddled Panthers lost in five games to Vegas.

At the other end, Edmonton goalie Stuart Skinner looked shaky – just as he did early in the first and second rounds against the Kings and Canucks. Skinner now has a subpar .897 save percentage this playoffs and .891 postseason SV% including last year. The fact that he’s in the conversation for Canada’s starting goalie at the 2026 Olympics is a testament to the weak state of Canadian goaltending.

Edmonton might carry the majority of the play again in Game 2, but their defense corps (especially the bottom-two pairs) are mistake prone and Skinner isn’t likely to bail them out.

EDM vs FLA Game 2 picks:

  • Panthers moneyline (-130)
  • McDavid under 1.5 points (-115)
  • Nugent-Hopkins over 1.5 shots on goal (-150)
