- The Los Angeles Clippers are 6-point home favorites to go up 3-1 in their series against the Denver Nuggets
- Denver is coming off a demoralizing 34-point loss in Thursday’s Game 3

After winning Game 1 112-110 in overtime, the Denver Nuggets (38-46-1 ATS) couldn’t keep the momentum going in their first-round NBA Playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers (50-35 ATS). The following two outings saw a modest 3-point victory for LA, and Thursday, they laid a 117-83 beating on the Nuggets.
Unsurprisingly, the books are leaning towards the home team in Game 4, which goes Saturday at 6pm ET/3pm PT from Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, with TNT carrying the broadcast in the United States and TSN in Canada.
Nuggets vs Clippers Odds Game 4 Odds
The Clippers are 6-point home favorites in the NBA odds, including a -230 on the moneyline, which is an implied win probability of 69.70%. The Nuggets are +190 underdogs, with the total checking in at 212.5 points. A $100 bet would profit $190 if they’re victorious. Conversely, a $230 wager on the Clippers would return $100.
In this Nuggets vs Clippers matchup, our SBD formula indicates it’ll be a tight tilt, won 116.4-115.4 by the Clippers. That points to Denver covering the 6-point spread and the over 212.5 point total hitting.

Denver faced two significant injuries that affected how Game 3 played out, with Russell Westbrook dealing with left foot inflammation. He turned his foot while warming up before the game and attempted to play through the injury before being taken out midway through the second quarter.
Michael Porter Jr. injured his left, non-shooting shoulder while diving for a ball near the end of Game 2, suffering a Grade 2 sprain of a joint in his shoulder. He fought through it in Game 3, but shot just 2-for-9 from the field in 35 minutes, and he’s unsure if he can play Saturday.
The Clippers are the fifth choice in the NBA Championship odds with their best price of +2000 found at DraftKings, while the Nuggets are well behind them at +10000 on BetMGM.
Denver Nuggets vs Los Angeles Clippers Pick
- Nuggets vs Clippers pick: Clippers -6 (-110)
In Game 3, Nikola Jokic became the first player in NBA playoff history to have consecutive 20-point triple doubles and lose both games, as he put up 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists in Game 3. With Westbrook missing most of the contest, and Porter Jr. attempting to battle through his injuries, the 3-point field goal discrepancy was stark – LA was 18-for-39 (46%), while their counterparts were just 7-for-26 from downtown (27%).
The Clippers have been rolling, having taken 20 of their last 24 games. The 34-point triumph in Game 3 was their third-largest margin of victory ever in a playoff contest, and they’re 17-3 in the last 20 with Kawhi Leonard suiting up. He’s been excellent in the series, with at least 21 points in all three outings, and in Game 2, was otherworldly, going 15-for-19 from the field. He racked up 39 points for a 92.0 true-shooting percentage, the seventh-highest true-shooting percentage in a 35-point game in NBA playoff history.
Something to keep in mind, – it’s the tenth time the Clippers have held a 2-1 lead in a best-of-7 series. They’ve won just four of those previous nine series, the only team in NBA history with a losing series record in that scenario. However, I’m still selecting the Clippers to cover the 6-point spread, since they’re the fourth-best team covering (50-35), and are 30-20 ATS as a favorite, compared to Denver 11-11 as the underdog.
Nuggets vs Clippers Player Props
For a player prop to select, I’m going back to the well that is the incredible Nikola Jokic, with two consecutive triple-doubles. He has 35 assists in the series, and has had ten or more dimes in six of his last seven overall contests, and six of his last eight against the Clippers.
DEN-LAC Props Pick:
- Nikola Jokic over 9.5 assists (-136)

The highly anticipated Game 4 between the Denver Nuggets and the LA Clippers is set to take place, and fans are eagerly awaiting the outcome of this crucial matchup. With the series tied at 2-1 in favor of the Clippers, both teams will be looking to secure a victory and gain the upper hand in this Western Conference semi-final.
The Nuggets will be looking to bounce back after a tough loss in Game 3, where they were unable to contain the offensive firepower of the Clippers. Led by star center Nikola Jokic, who has been dominant throughout the playoffs, Denver will need to find a way to slow down the high-scoring duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George if they hope to even up the series.
On the other hand, the Clippers will be looking to build on their momentum from Game 3 and continue their strong play on both ends of the court. With Leonard and George leading the way, along with the sharpshooting of Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell off the bench, LA will be a tough team to beat if they can maintain their level of play.
In terms of player props, bettors will be keeping a close eye on Jokic and Leonard, who have been consistently putting up big numbers in this series. Jokic’s ability to score in the paint and facilitate for his teammates makes him a threat on every possession, while Leonard’s scoring ability and defensive prowess make him a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the court.
As for the odds, the Clippers are currently favored to win Game 4, with most sportsbooks giving them a slight edge over the Nuggets. However, with the unpredictable nature of playoff basketball, anything can happen, and Denver will be looking to pull off an upset and even up the series.
Overall, Game 4 between the Denver Nuggets and the LA Clippers is shaping up to be a thrilling matchup between two talented teams vying for a spot in the Western Conference Finals. With star players on both sides looking to make an impact, fans can expect a high-intensity game with plenty of drama and excitement. Be sure to tune in and see which team comes out on top in this pivotal showdown.
