Do you want to know my favorite days of the week during baseball season? It’s easy. I love all of the days when we get to see every single team play. There’s just something about going through every single matchup in the mornings, knowing there’s another matchup to pick through right behind it. There are home runs in these matchups, and it’s on us to find them. Just yesterday, there were 32 home runs in the 15 games. Obviously we want more than 32, but still, 32 is enough to thrust us into greatness. At the end of the day, we only need to find two guys who are going to hit the ball over the fence tonight to cash our home run parlay. Not 32. Feels easy.

Wednesday MLB Home Run Parlay Leg #1 – Cal Raleigh to Hit a Home Run

We’re going to need Circle of Trust guys if we’re going to be parlaying these dingers. That’s just stating the obvious. And so far this season, there isn’t anyone I turst more than Cal Raliegh. When we need a dinger, he’ll give us one.

Obviously the dinger market is all about matchups and Call has a good one tonight against Nick Martinez.

Matchups are great and all but we’re going to need guys that are smoking balls right now. The Dinger Business is a “What have you done lately?” business, and everyone knows that. Lucky for us, Cal is right in the middle of a ball-destroying streak.

I know the haters are going to say Cal had a great matchup last night and he didn’t hit one out, but as usual, the haters are wrong. For starters, Cal had a good to quite good matchup. It wasn’t great. And still, in a good to quite good matchup, he almost gave the fans a souvenir. The guy hit a ball 404 feet and somehow it didn’t clear a fence. That should be illegal. I think he makes good tonight in a great matchup. In fact, I’d be shocked if he didn’t hit two. Feels right.

Wednesday MLB Home Run Parlay Leg #2 – James Wood to Hit a Home Run

For some guys, getting into the Circle of Trust is inevitable. Every guy currently in the Circle of Trust knew they were getting in long before they ever got the call. All I’m saying is a Circle of Trust guy is easy to spot in the crowd. They’re the ones flattening baseballs every time they swing a bat.

James Wood is just one of those guys. Look at what he’s doing to lefties this season.

Tonight, Wood is going to see Bailey Falter, and I doubt it ends well for Bailey. For starters, Bailey has trouble with left-handed hitters. His fastball isn’t fast, his sinker doesn’t sink and his slider doesn’t slide. It’s a mess. To put it into perspective, Bailey has thrown his four-seamer 28 times to a fellow lefty this season, and two of those times, some fan took the ball home with them. Not great. If you like Bailey, which we don’t (nothing personal).

This isn’t just about Bailey Falter, though. This is just as much about James Wood. Going through his exit velocity logs, it’s crazy that he only has six dingers this season. He’s hitting balls 100+ mph literally every game. My guess is he finds the bleachers with one tonight. Maybe even two. Feels right.
