Cooper Flagg The Betting Favorite

He led the team in points (18.7), rebounds (7.5) and assists (4.2) per game, earning ACC rookie of the year and player of the year. He suffered an ankle injury during the ACC Tournament, but shook that off to record a combined 32 points, 16 rebounds and eleven assists in the first two rounds of the March Madness.

Walter Clayton Jr. the Second Favorite

Followed by Cooper Flagg is Florida Gators senior guard Walter Clayton Jr. at +600. He received first-team All-SEC honors, averaging 17.9 points and 4.2 assists per contest. In the tournament, the slick guard has put up 23 points in both outings, leading the Gators to a 26-point first round victory and a tight two-point win over two-time defending champion UConn.

Clayton Jr. is one of four players (Flagg, Johni Broome, Braden Smith) nominated as a finalist for the Naismith Trophy identifying the nations top player.
