The Men’s March Madness has reached the Sweet 16, with Duke the favorite over Florida to win the national championship in the March Madness champion odds. Odds have been posted on who will come out on top as tournament MVP, and as expected, the top choices are players who are #1 seeds and have the shortest odds to win the tournament.

March Madness Most Outstanding Player Odds

The odds point towards presumptive 2025 first overall NBA Draft odds pick Cooper Flagg to win MVP at +250. He’s followed by Florida Gators guard Walter Clayton Jr. at +600 and Auburn Tigers power forward Johni Broome at +800.

Cooper Flagg The Betting Favorite

The Duke Blue Devils are searching for their first national champonship since 2015, and as Cooper Flagg goes, they go. He led the team in points (18.7), rebounds (7.5) and assists (4.2) per game, earning ACC rookie of the year and player of the year. He suffered an ankle injury during the ACC Tournament, but shook that off to record a combined 32 points, 16 rebounds and eleven assists in the first two rounds of the March Madness.

Flagg is obviously the consensus favorite and most talked about player, but I don’t love investing money on a player with such +250 odds so I’m looking a little more down the board for some value. For an Arizona Wildcats vs Duke Blue Devils Sweet 16 preview, SBD’s Sascha Paruk has you covered.

Walter Clayton Jr. the Second Favorite

Followed by Cooper Flagg is Florida Gators senior guard Walter Clayton Jr. at +600. He received first-team All-SEC honors, averaging 17.9 points and 4.2 assists per contest. In the tournament, the slick guard has put up 23 points in both outings, leading the Gators to a 26-point first round victory and a tight two-point win over two-time defending champion UConn.

Clayton Jr. is one of four players (Flagg, Johni Broome, Braden Smith) nominated as a finalist for the Naismith Trophy identifying the nations top player. At +600 the odds are tempting, but I’m holding off because I have a different national champion in mind. The eventual winning team has produced the tournament MVP every year since Hakeem Olajuwon won it in 1983 with the Houston Cougars. For a Maryland Terrapins vs Florida Gators Sweet 16 preview, Eric Rosales has his best bet.

March Madness Tournament MVP Prediction

At +800 odds, Auburn Tigers power forward Johni Broome is the sweet spot between a realistic champion, and also some value. A winning $10 ticket on him, for example, would pay out $80 plus the original $10 stake. Auburn is a #1 seed, and they won their first two duels by 20 and twelve points.

Broome led the Tigers this season with 18.4 points per game, was eighth in the nation with 10.7 rebounds per outing, and also led the team in assists (3.0). In the first two rounds, Broome has grabbed a whopping 23 boards en route to the two victories.

This campaign, Broome won the SEC Player of the Year, and while his scoring touch hasn’t been fine tuned yet in the tournament, these upcoming games are what he’ll be judged on, should Auburn come out on top. For the Michigan Wolverines vs Auburn Tigers Sweet 16 preview, Eric Rosales has another intriguing selection.

As March Madness approaches, college basketball fans are eagerly anticipating the tournament and speculating on who will be named the Most Outstanding Player. One player who is currently favored in the odds is Texas A&M’s Emanuel Miller.

Miller, a 6’7″ sophomore forward, has been a standout player for the Aggies this season. He leads the team in scoring, averaging 17.2 points per game, and is also a force on the boards, averaging 8.9 rebounds per game. Miller has shown his ability to take over games and make clutch plays when it matters most, making him a strong candidate for Most Outstanding Player.

In addition to his impressive stats, Miller also has the intangibles that make him a valuable player in March Madness. He has a high basketball IQ, excellent court vision, and a strong work ethic that sets him apart from other players. Miller’s versatility on both ends of the court makes him a difficult matchup for opponents and a key player for Texas A&M’s success in the tournament.

While Miller is currently favored in the odds for Most Outstanding Player, there are several other players who could also make a strong case for the award. Players like Jaden Shackelford from Alabama, Johnny Juzang from UCLA, and Keegan Murray from Iowa have all had standout seasons and could potentially lead their teams to deep runs in the tournament.

Ultimately, the race for Most Outstanding Player in March Madness is wide open, with several talented players vying for the award. However, with his impressive performance this season and his ability to elevate his game in high-pressure situations, Emanuel Miller is certainly a top contender for the honor. Fans will have to wait and see how the tournament unfolds to determine who will ultimately be named the Most Outstanding Player of March Madness.
