The Nuggets’ home-court advantage is legitimate, but they’ve been inconsistent covering big numbers against scrappy teams. In fact, they have just one cover in their past 11 games at Ball Arena. San Antonio’s young roster won’t quit even while trailing, making them dangerous backdoor cover threats until the final buzzer.

Even without Cunningham, the Pistons can still fill it up, sitting 11th in the league offensively (115.5 points per game). Detroit’s secondary scorers like Malik Beasley, Tobias Harris, and Dennis Schroder should get more looks and keep the scoreboard ticking.

Recent trends are screaming over in this matchup. The total has cleared in five of Detroit’s last six games and in six of their last nine road trips. The Pistons have also sailed over in seven of their last nine against Northwest Division squads.

With the Thunder at home and looking to lock down the West’s top seed, expect OKC to push the tempo and light it up.
