Top Player Prop Bets for the Heat vs Bulls Play-In Tournament

  • NBA play-in action goes Wednesday when the Miami visit the Chicago Bulls in the 9-vs-10 game
  • The loser plays the Atlanta Hawks for the eighth and final playoff spot in the East
  • See my favorite Heat vs Bulls player props to target for the Play-In Tournament below

It’s a win-or-go-home Wednesday in the NBA when the Miami Heat (37-45, 17-23 away) travel to Chicago to take on the Bulls (39-43, 18-23 home) with the loser eliminated from playoff contention. The winner moves on to another must-win vs the Atlanta Hawks for the 8th seed and a date with the Cavaliers in Round 1. For our purposes, I’ve scanned the prop lines for my favorite picks and am sharing below for your betting consideration. Action gets underway at 7:30pm ET from the United Center in Chicago, with ESPN carrying the broadcast.

If player props aren’t your cup of tea, check out Sascha Paruk’s Heat vs Bulls picks and predictions.

Heat wing Tyler Herro has the highest scoring total of any player in this one, at 24.5 points. Chicago’s Coby White is the only other player tabbed in the 20+ point plateau, at 22.5 points.

The Bulls’ Josh Giddey has a near triple-double of betting lines for Wednesday, with a scoring line of 17.5, and matching rebound and assist props at 9.5. He’s basically averaged a triple double since March.

Bulls’ big man Nikola Vuceivc has the highest rebounding prop at 10.5, while Bam Adebayo has the same 9.5 rebound line with Giddey.

Heat vs Bulls Prop Bet #1: Josh Giddey Assists

Perhaps a change of scenery was all Josh Giddey needed to unlock his tremendous potential. Dealt from OKC to the Bulls for Alex Caruso, his game has blossomed, particularly in the last six weeks. He averaged 20.3 points, 9.6 rebounds and 9.0 assists in March on 49% shooting from the field and 35.7% from distance.

He upped that in his final four games in April, helping lead the Bulls to four straight wins, averaging 20.8 points, 13 rebounds and 10.8 assists, including a blistering 40% from 3-point range.

I’m targeting his assist line for Wednesday, as he’s gone for 10 or more assists in six of his last nine games, missing the Over in two other games by a total of three dimes.

Most importantly, he’s done it to the Heat, twice during his streak. On April 9, he doled out 11 dimes in a 119-111 win, part of a larger 28-point triple double. In the previous matchup, on March 8, he had 12 assists, part of a 26-point triple double, in a Chicago 114-109 win.

I like Giddey to keep the Bulls’ offense on time in this must-win.

  • Heat vs Bulls prop pick: Giddey Over 9.5 assists (+105 at DraftKings)

Heat vs Bulls Prop Bet #2: Andrew Wiggins Points

Andrew Wiggins has done a decent job stepping into the wing role that was vacated in the Jimmy Butler trade, as he’s averaging 19 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists over 17 games, shooting 45.8% from the field and 36% from 3-point range.

But lately, his scoring has taken a dip. And wouldn’t you know it: the postseason is here, and Wiggins — save for his critical work in helping deliver a title to the Warriors — doesn’t exactly rise to the occasion in the playoffs.

Andrew Wiggins Career Regular Season vs Playoffs

In his final four games of the regular season, Wiggins went Under his 18.5 scoring line set against the Bulls, averaging just 12.5 points on just 35.8% shooting from the field.

Wiggins has topped this total once as a member of a Heat against these same Bulls, going for 22 in their March 8 matchup. However, that’s the lone time he’s scored 19 or more points against the Bulls in his last seven.

I’ll happily stay on trend for this prop.

The NBA Play-In Tournament has brought a new level of excitement to the end of the regular season, with teams fighting for their playoff lives in a win-or-go-home format. One of the most popular ways to get in on the action is through player prop bets, which allow fans to wager on specific player performances rather than just the outcome of the game.

In the upcoming matchup between the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls, there are several intriguing player prop bets to consider. Let’s take a look at some of the top options for this play-in tournament showdown:

1. Jimmy Butler Over/Under Points: Jimmy Butler has been the heart and soul of the Miami Heat this season, leading the team in scoring and playing a key role on both ends of the floor. For this game, his over/under points total is likely to be set around 25 points. Considering Butler’s ability to score in a variety of ways, taking the over on this prop bet could be a smart move.

2. Zach LaVine Total Rebounds: Zach LaVine is known for his scoring prowess, but he’s also a solid rebounder for a guard. His total rebounds prop bet could be set around 5.5 for this game, and considering the importance of crashing the boards in a high-stakes matchup like this, taking the over on LaVine’s rebound total could pay off.

3. Bam Adebayo Assists: Bam Adebayo is one of the best passing big men in the league, averaging over five assists per game this season. His assists prop bet could be set around 5.5 for this game, and with Adebayo’s ability to facilitate the offense from the post, taking the over on his assist total could be a smart play.

4. Nikola Vucevic Total Points: Nikola Vucevic has been a consistent scorer for the Chicago Bulls since being acquired at the trade deadline. His total points prop bet could be set around 20 points for this game, and with Vucevic’s ability to score both inside and outside, taking the over on his points total could be a solid bet.

5. Tyler Herro Three-Pointers Made: Tyler Herro is known for his sharpshooting ability, especially from beyond the arc. His three-pointers made prop bet could be set around 2.5 for this game, and with Herro’s propensity to get hot from deep, taking the over on his three-pointers made total could be a lucrative wager.

In conclusion, player prop bets can add an extra layer of excitement to the NBA Play-In Tournament, allowing fans to get more involved in the action and potentially cash in on their basketball knowledge. When considering which player prop bets to wager on for the Heat vs Bulls matchup, be sure to take into account each player’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as the importance of the game itself. Good luck and happy betting!
