Top Player Prop Bets for Broncos vs Saints Thursday Night Football in Week 7

  • It’s a cross-conference matchup when the Broncos visit the Saints on Thursday Night Football
  • Rookie pivots Bo Nix and Spencer Rattler have been tabbed with sub-200 passing-yard props
  • See all the Broncos vs Saints player props including passing, rushing, receiving, and TD scores for TNF

Two teams coming off disappointing losses are in the Big Easy to try and right the ship, as the Denver Broncos visit the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football.

The Saints are 3-point home dogs in the Broncos vs Saints odds, as they’re starting rookie Spencer Rattler and dinged up along the offense, with receivers Rashid Shaheed and Chris Olave already ruled out, and TE Taysom Hill doubtful.

This trickles down to our world, as we sort through NFL player props to choose from.

Expect to see a lot of Alvin Kamara, who’s got the highest rush line across the board, and perhaps in Sean Payton’s return to New Orleans, he unleashes rookie Bo Nix for a big outing.

Broncos vs Saints Player Prop #1: Bo Nix Passing Yards

It hasn’t been pretty, but Bo Nix continues to develop, though the jury is still out on whether he is a legit starter in the NFL.

He’s completing passes at a 61.1% rate, and aside from an absolute dud against the Jets, he’s thrown for over 200 yards in four of his last five starts.

Last week, Nix went 19-for-33 for 216 yards and a pair of TD’s, though much of that production came when Denver was already down 20 to the Chargers.

NOLA’s pass defense is middle of the pack, allowing 224.8 yards per game, but were just lit on fire by Baker Mayfield and the Bucs. I like the generous line Nix is getting Thursday.

  • Saints vs Broncos Prop Pick: Nix OVER 192.5 yards rushing (-110); risk 1 unit at DraftKings

DEN vs NOLA Player Prop #2: Alvin Kamara Receptions

With the Saints thin at the skill positions, there should be plenty of touches for Alvin Kamara, but I’m not sure it’s as a runner.

Denver is Top 5 against the rush on the year, and Kamara has totalled just 66 yards on the ground the last couple of weeks.

But he’s still been plenty important in the pass game, with at least five receptions in three straight games, and four times in six contests this season.

We’re not sure if Rattler is ready to rip it down the field, but he’ll have a security blanket underneath at all times.

  • Broncos vs Saints Prop Picks: Kamara OVER 4.5 receptions (-150); risk 1 unit at DraftKings

Broncos vs Saints Touchdown Scorer Props

Player Odds to Score 1st TD Odds to Score Any TD
Alvin Kamara (NO) +425 -110
Javonte Williams (DEN) +700 +155
Courtland Sutton (DEN) +800 +200
Bo Nix (DEN) +1000 +255

Saints D/ST (NO) +1800 +425
Jaleel McLaughlin (DEN) +1800 +425
Mason Tipton (NO) +2000 +475

Kamara is the only player in the field with minus odds for an anytime touchdown. Denver RB Javonte Williams has the next best odds of finding paydirt at +155.

Broncos vs Saints Player Prop #3: Sutton Anytime TD Scorer

Courtland Sutton came up with a beauty TD grab last week against the Chargers, giving him a pair of scores over the last three games.

His 47 targets nearly doubles the next nearest Denver receiver, so let’s bank on that connection with Nix in the short week.

Sutton also has a major in four of Denver’s last five October games.

  • Broncos vs Saints Prop Picks: Sutton anytime touchdown (+200); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook

Last week: 0-3

This season: 1-8, -7.13 units

As the Denver Broncos prepare to take on the New Orleans Saints in Thursday Night Football in Week 7, there are several player prop bets that fans and bettors should keep an eye on. These bets can add an extra layer of excitement to the game and provide opportunities for some potentially lucrative payouts.

One player to watch in this matchup is Broncos quarterback Drew Lock. Lock has shown flashes of potential in his young career, but he has also been inconsistent at times. One prop bet to consider is whether Lock will throw for over or under a certain number of passing yards. The Saints defense has been solid this season, so it will be interesting to see how Lock performs against them.

Another player to keep an eye on is Broncos running back Melvin Gordon. Gordon has been a key part of the Broncos’ offense this season, and he could have a big game against a Saints defense that has struggled against the run at times. A prop bet on Gordon’s rushing yards or total touchdowns could be a good option for bettors looking to capitalize on his potential impact in this game.

On the Saints side, quarterback Drew Brees is always a player to watch. Brees is a future Hall of Famer and has the ability to put up big numbers against any defense. A prop bet on Brees’ passing yards or touchdown passes could be a smart play for those expecting a strong performance from the veteran signal-caller.

Additionally, Saints running back Alvin Kamara is another player to keep an eye on in this game. Kamara is one of the most dynamic playmakers in the NFL and can make an impact as both a runner and receiver. A prop bet on Kamara’s total yards from scrimmage or total touchdowns could be a good option for bettors looking to capitalize on his versatility.

Overall, there are plenty of intriguing player prop bets to consider for the Broncos vs Saints Thursday Night Football matchup in Week 7. Whether you’re a fan looking to add some excitement to the game or a bettor looking to make some money, these prop bets offer plenty of opportunities to get in on the action.
