Top NBA Player Prop Bets for Tuesday, March 18th

  • We’ve got a rare, small four-game NBA slate on Tuesday, March 18, 2025
  • Even four-game slates can produce gold in the NBA player-prop streets
  • See my favorite NBA player props, picks, and predictions tonight

After a gigantic Monday night slate, we’ve only got eight NBA teams in action on Tuesday night. We’ve got two choices: be sad that there are only four games, or do what any self-respecting gambler would do and find some bangers. Obviously, we’re finding bangers. There are four games tonight. We’ve done more with less. The best part is, the games are all spaced out properly. The first one starts at 7:00 pm ET and the last one starts at 10:30 pm ET. If we play our cards right, we can have a bet from each slate. In that scenario, we won’t even notice that there are only four games. Feels like the move.

NBA Player Prop Pick #1: DaQuan Jeffries Drills Threes

March in the NBA is about opportunity. Teams that are out of contention usually have to figure out what went wrong as well as plan for the future. Part of that is giving guys that don’t normally play an opportunity to showcase their talents.

One guy that fits this description is DaQuan Jeffries of the Charlotte Hornets. He seems to be making the most of his opportunity.

The reason we should look for these situations is because the books have no idea how to price these players. They aren’t in the guessing game so the only thing they can really go on is past performance. The problem with that is guys like DaQuan Jeffries don’t have an extensive past. He’s only been playing big minutes for a few games.

In fact, Jeffries has only been a “starter” for four games. In those four games, he seems like his role is to chuck and duck. The man has attempted at least six three-point attempts in each of those four games. He’s hit at least three in two of those contests.

Tonight Jeffries and the Hornets will see the Atlanta Hawks which is a good thing. They just run up and down the floor with a “defense optional” approach which is one reason why they are one of the worst teams in the NBA at defending the threeball. Jeffries actually dropped four on them the other night. We only need three tonight. Feels easy.

NBA Player Prop Prediction #2: Kawhi Leonard Does Everything

Sometimes guys get hurt and since we don’t see them for awhile, we forget that they’re good. It’s happened to me a million times over the years and it’s happening again as we speak. In our defense, this shouldn’t be blamed on us. We’re busy people.

Still, I’m not sure how I forgot that Kawhi Leonard is still really good.

Leonard’s problem over the last few years has been minutes more than anything. The man literally invented “load management” and boy does he have his load “managed”. Still, I think it’s safe at this point to assume he’s playing his full complement of minutes if he’s in the starting lineup.

Looking at his game logs, the man is playing minutes. Kawhi has played 13 games since February 6 and he’s played 30+ minutes in all of them except for one. That was because of a blowout so it wasn’t even his fault. (He still went over 31.5 points + rebounds + assists that game).

Obviously in the NBA, every game has blowout risk but I think we could be safe in the Cleveland Cavaliers/Los Angeles Clippers matchup. Both teams are locking in at the moment with no weird lineup stuff to worry about. Assuming we get and honest effort out of these two teams, it’s hard to imagine Kawhi Leonard not getting at least 32 points + rebounds + assists. Feels right.

As the NBA season continues to heat up, fans and bettors alike are always on the lookout for the best player prop bets to make their viewing experience even more exciting. With a slate of games scheduled for Tuesday, March 18th, here are some top NBA player prop bets to consider:

1. James Harden – Points Over/Under: 30.5
James Harden has been on a tear since joining the Brooklyn Nets, averaging over 25 points per game. With his scoring ability and the Nets facing off against the Indiana Pacers, who have struggled defensively this season, taking the over on Harden’s points total could be a smart bet.

2. LeBron James – Assists Over/Under: 8.5
LeBron James is known for his playmaking ability, averaging over 8 assists per game this season. With the Los Angeles Lakers taking on the Minnesota Timberwolves, who have one of the worst defenses in the league, LeBron could have a big night dishing out assists. Taking the over on his assists total could be a solid bet.

3. Joel Embiid – Rebounds Over/Under: 12.5
Joel Embiid has been dominant on the boards this season, averaging over 11 rebounds per game. With the Philadelphia 76ers facing off against the Golden State Warriors, who have struggled on the glass, Embiid could have a big rebounding night. Taking the over on his rebounds total could be a good bet.

4. Stephen Curry – Three-Pointers Made Over/Under: 4.5
Stephen Curry is known for his sharpshooting from beyond the arc, averaging over 5 three-pointers made per game this season. With the Golden State Warriors facing off against the Philadelphia 76ers, who have struggled defending the three-point line, Curry could have a big night from deep. Taking the over on his three-pointers made total could be a smart bet.

5. Giannis Antetokounmpo – Points + Rebounds Over/Under: 45.5
Giannis Antetokounmpo is a dominant force on both ends of the floor, averaging over 30 points and 10 rebounds per game this season. With the Milwaukee Bucks taking on the New York Knicks, who have struggled defensively against big men, Giannis could have a big night scoring and rebounding. Taking the over on his points + rebounds total could be a solid bet.

When making player prop bets, it’s important to consider factors such as matchups, recent performance, and injuries. By doing your research and staying informed, you can make smart bets and hopefully come out on top. Good luck!
