Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Odds

Teams Spread Moneyline Total
Memphis Grizzlies +1.5 (-110) +110 O 230.5 (-110)
Minnesota Timberwolves -1.5 (-110) -130 U 230.5 (-110)

Odds as of Jan. 11 at Caesars Sportsbook. Be sure to check the top Caesars Sportsbook promos before making a bet on any NBA showdown.

There’s some interesting variation on the totals that a smart bettor should be wise to. The total is 230.5 at Caesars and 231.5 at FanDuel and BetMGM. That basket may not look like a lot, but we know different.

The Wolves are a 1.5-point favorite at every major sportsbook, and that has been locked in. We’re wondering, though, because none of the last few meetings between these two teams have been close. Minnesota has won the last four meetings, and the closest score was only nine points.

Memphis has lost three of its last four against the spread and is 5-3-2 in the last 10.

Minnesota’s last three games have hit the under, they even went under 199.5 the other night against Orlando. It’s rare that any NBA game have a total under 200.

The best moneyline bet for Memphis is +106 at FanDuel, and for Minnesota, you can get -120 atBet365.

Three And A.E.

Anthony Edwards had his star moment in last year’s playoffs and was being hailed as the next NBA superstar, and then this year, well, it hasn’t happened. Edwards, in his fifth year, is still putting up good numbers. He’s averaging 25.3 points per game, but is shooting a career-high 10 threes a night and making four of them.

Minnesota attempts 40 threes a game, which is seventh in the NBA, and they make them at a 37.7 percent clip, which is fourth in the league, but it seems like a bit too many.

The truth is the T’Wolves aren’t the same since they traded Karl-Anthony Towns to the Knicks. They don’t have the same balanced scoring, and Edwards is trying to do too much.

The Bears Are Back

Memphis might be the most underrated franchise in all of professional sports. Every year, they rise to the top of the NBA standings, and every year, people are surprised. Coach Taylor Jenkins has a style that his team understands and likes to play.

Memphis is second in the NBA in points per game at 122. Their offensive philosophy is based on spacing out the defense and letting Ja Morant drive to the basket. Morant gets hurt a lot (maybe too much), but the strategy works. Memphis leads the league in free throw attempts and is second in rebounding.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is having a big year for the Grizzlies with a career-high 22.6 points per game. He’s another underrated star.

Grizzlies vs Timberwolves Prediction

  • Grizzlies +1.5 points at BetMGM
  • Under 231.5 at BetMGM

This is a battle of two of the best young stars in the NBA in Edwards and Morant; they’re good for at least one amazing highlight a night. We just think Memphis has a bit more around their superstar than the T’Wolves do right now. Jackson Jr. should have a big night inside against the Timberwolves’ frontcourt.

The Memphis Grizzlies will be facing off against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday in what promises to be an exciting matchup between two talented teams. Both teams are coming off of strong performances in their previous games, with the Grizzlies currently sitting at 5th place in the Western Conference and the Timberwolves at 10th place.

In terms of predictions for this game, it’s expected to be a close contest between the two teams. The Grizzlies have been playing well recently, with standout performances from players like Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. Their strong defense and ability to score points in the paint will likely be key factors in this game.

On the other hand, the Timberwolves have been showing improvement as well, with Karl-Anthony Towns leading the way for the team. Their three-point shooting and ability to move the ball effectively will be important factors in determining the outcome of this game.

In terms of odds, the Grizzlies are currently favored to win this matchup, with odds of -150 compared to the Timberwolves’ odds of +130. This indicates that the sportsbooks believe the Grizzlies have a slight edge in this game, but anything can happen in basketball and the Timberwolves are certainly capable of pulling off an upset.

Overall, Saturday’s game between the Grizzlies and Timberwolves is shaping up to be an exciting and competitive matchup. Both teams have talented rosters and will be looking to secure a crucial win as they continue their push towards the playoffs. Fans can expect a high-energy game with plenty of highlights and memorable moments.
